Relive that time! The Museum sets up a military camp retracing the defense of Lille in 1814 against the arrival of the Prussians on French territory: uniformed patrols, soldier’s school, battalion maneuvers and artillery firing demonstrations will punctuate the day for a total immersion in History.

Saturday 16 May 2026
For this day under the sign of living history, it is recommended that younger people wear helmets or noise protection during cannon and rifle shots, in order to fully enjoy the show with serenity.
At 10am: the patrols rush into the museum, the animations come to life freely along the aisles.
At 10:30 the staffs meet: strategies and preparations are outlined.
At 11 am: taking of arms in the square, near the estaminet: a solemn and impressive moment.
At 2pm: the soldier’s school opens its ranks: maneuvers, drills and educational exchanges invite the public to understand military daily life.
At 3 PM: the skirmish erupts, plunging the museum into the heart of the action.
At 4pm: the soldiers wander again in the museum, between meetings and demonstrations.
Sunday 17 May 2026
At 10am: wanderings, patrols, soldier’s school and animations punctuate the morning.
At 14:30: new skirmish, between tension and strategy.
At 4pm: animations and final wanderings to close the afternoon.
At 5 PM: last armed ceremony, the culmination of a weekend out of time. You can also find our weekend activities, led by our villagers, such as guided tours or the school of yesteryear...

Revivez cette époque ! Le Musée installe un campement militaire retraçant la défense de Lille en 1814 face à l’arrivée des Prussiens sur le territoire français : patrouilles en uniforme, école du soldat, manoeuvres de bataillon et démonstrations de tir d’artillerie rythmeront la journée pour une immersion totale dans l’Histoire.
Rendez-vous : à partir de 10 h

Samedi 16 mai 2026
Pour cette journée placée sous le signe de l’histoire vivante, il est recommandé aux plus jeunes de prévoir des casques ou des protections antibruit lors des tirs de canon et de fusil, afin de profiter pleinement du spectacle en toute sérénité.
A 10h : les patrouilles s’élancent dans le musée, les animations prennent vie librement au fil des allées.
A 10h30 les états-majors se réunissent : stratégies et préparatifs se dessinent.
A 11h : prise d’armes sur la place, près de l’estaminet : un moment solennel et impressionnant.
A 14h : l ’école du soldat ouvre ses rangs : manœuvres, drill et échanges pédagogiques invitent le public à comprendre le quotidien militaire.
A 15h : l’escarmouche éclate, plongeant le musée au cœur de l’action.
A 16h : les soldats déambulent à nouveau dans le musée, entre rencontres et démonstrations.
Dimanche 17 mai 2026
A 10h : déambulations, patrouilles, école du soldat et animations rythment la matinée.
A 14h30 : nouvelle escarmouche, entre tension et stratégie.
A 16h : animations et déambulations finales pour clore l’après-midi.
A 17h : dernière prise d’armes, point d’orgue d’un week-end hors du temps. Vous pourrez également retrouver nos animations du week-end, animées par nos villageois, telles que les visites guidées ou encore l’école d’antan…

Het museum installeert een militair kamp dat de verdediging van Lille in 1814 traceert voor de komst van Pruisen op Frans grondgebied: Patrouilles in uniform, soldaatschool, bataljonmanoeuvres en demonstraties van artillerievuur zullen de dag doorkruisen voor een totale onderdompeling in de geschiedenis.
Afspraak: Vanaf 10 uur

Zaterdag 16 mei 2026
Voor deze dag, onder het teken van levende geschiedenis, is het aan te bevelen dat jongeren helmen of geluidbescherming bieden bij het afvuren van kanonnen en geweren, om volledig te genieten van de show in volledige rust.
Om 10 uur: De patrouilles beginnen in het museum, de animaties komen vrij tot leven langs de gangpaden.
Om 10:30 komt het personeel bijeen: Strategieën en voorbereidingen komen in opkomst.
Om 11 uur: Wapens nemen op het plein, in de buurt van de estaminet: Een plechtig en indrukwekkend moment.
Om 14 uur: De school van de soldaat opent haar gelederen: Manoeuvres, oefeningen en pedagogische uitwisselingen nodigen het publiek uit om het dagelijkse leger te begrijpen.
Om 15 uur: De schermutselingen breken uit, waardoor het museum in het hart van de actie wordt gedompeld.
Om 16 uur: Soldaten dwalen weer in het museum, tussen vergaderingen en demonstraties.
Zondag 17 mei 2026
Om 10 uur: Wandelingen, patrouilles, de school van een soldaat en animaties stippen de ochtend.
Om 2,30 uur: Nieuwe schermutselingen, tussen spanning en strategie.
Om 16 uur: Animaties en laatste wandelingen om de middag af te sluiten.
Om 17 uur: Laatste wapenbezit, het hoogtepunt van een weekend zonder tijd. U kunt ook onze weekend animaties, geanimeerd door onze dorpelingen, zoals rondleidingen of de school van gisteren …
