Every Friday evening during the exhibition "Picasso and the Arab avant-gardes", the IMA-Tourcoing extends its opening hours until 8pm.
On this occasion visitors can discover the exhibition freely or take part in one of the unusual visits that allow to approach the exhibition from original angles.

Meet three women who have crossed paths with Picasso. Whether they are artists, muse or fighters… The meeting between his women and Picasso gave birth to major works.
DISCOVERY OF CALLIGRAPHY

The visit will allow to discover the drawings in a stroke of Picasso, which are similar to writing but also the works of Arab artists who explore the letter as a graphic element. Following the visit, participants will be invited to an introduction in Arabic calligraphy.

This mediation will offer visitors a focus on the life and work of a. e artist from. e of the exhibition Picasso and the Arab avant-gardes, through a set of drawings made by a mediator, student at the Beaux-arts of Tourcoing.
Visitors will be guided in the world of a. e painter during the animated and commented projection of this series of drawings.
POETIC VISIT
Friday 17 June - 18h30
Writing and visual arts are intertwined in some artists and the encounter with the works will be through the prism of literature, poetry. During the visit, a mediator will draw extracts of texts and poems that highlight the works.

La visite permettra de découvrir les dessins en un trait de Picasso, qui s’apparentent à de l’écriture mais aussi les œuvres des artistes arabes qui explorent la lettre comme un élément graphique. A la suite de la visite, les participants seront invités à une initiation en calligraphie arabe.

Cette médiation proposera aux visiteurs un focus sur la vie et l’œuvre d’un.e artiste issu.e de l’exposition Picasso et les avant-gardes arabes, à travers un ensemble de dessins réalisés par une médiatrice, étudiante aux Beaux-arts de Tourcoing.
Les visiteurs se laisseront guider dans l’univers d’un.e peintre lors de la projection animée et commentée de cette série de dessins.

Écriture et arts plastiques s’entremêlent chez certains artistes exposés et la rencontre avec les œuvres se fera par le prisme de la littérature, de la poésie. Une médiatrice égrainera au fil de la visite des extraits de textes, de poèmes qui mettent en lumière les œuvres.

Elke vrijdagavond tijdens de tentoonstelling "Picasso en de Arabische avant-gardes" verlengt de IMA-Tourcoing de openingstijden tot 20:00 uur.
Bij deze gelegenheid kunnen bezoekers de tentoonstelling vrij ontdekken of deelnemen aan een van de ongewone bezoeken die het mogelijk maken om de tentoonstelling vanuit originele hoeken te benaderen.

Ontmoet drie vrouwen die het pad hebben gekruist met Picasso. Of het nu kunstenaars, muzen of vechters zijn… De ontmoeting tussen zijn vrouwen en Picasso heeft grote werken gebaard.
ONTDEKKING VAN KALLIGRAFIE

Het bezoek zal het mogelijk maken om de tekeningen te ontdekken in een streek van Picasso, die vergelijkbaar zijn met schrijven, maar ook de werken van Arabische kunstenaars die de brief als grafisch element verkennen. Na het bezoek zullen de deelnemers worden uitgenodigd voor een inleiding in de Arabische kalligrafie.

Deze bemiddeling zal bezoekers een focus bieden op het leven en werk van een e kunstenaar uit. E van de tentoonstelling Picasso en de Arabische avant-gardes, door middel van een reeks tekeningen gemaakt door een bemiddelaar, student aan de Beaux-arts van Tourcoing.
Bezoekers zullen worden begeleid in de wereld van een schilder tijdens de geanimeerde en commentaarprojectie van deze serie tekeningen.
POËTISCH BEZOEK
Vrijdag 17 juni - 18:30 uur
Schrijven en beeldende kunst zijn in sommige kunstenaars met elkaar verweven en de ontmoeting met de werken zal plaatsvinden via het prisma van literatuur, poëzie. Tijdens het bezoek zal een bemiddelaar uittreksels tekenen van teksten en gedichten die de werken belichten.
