Cinérama - If It Was Love/ Be My Eyes
PROGRAMME: "Be My Eyes" by Lea Collet 2022 | FRANCE | 22 MIN | PRODUCTION LE FRESNOY The film accompanies my father – Gilles – who suffers from ocular glaucoma and gradually loses his sight. Gradually, glaucoma takes the form of a transcendental experience in which participants, wearing augmented speculative glasses, perform sequences of ritual and cathartic movements together. Shortcomings, malfunctions and technological errors are made sensitive. The bodies of the participants tear, collide, pixelate and dissolve with the grainy effect of the camera zoom before disintegrating completely in a flow of white light drawing an iridescence of the intimate. ? https://panorama24.lefresnoy.net/.../be-my-eyes/lea-collet
