Auf einem Felsen, der die Nizonne überragt, wurde das «Château de Haute Corne» von den Einwohnern von Aucorn gegründet, die im 11. Jahrhundert erwähnt wurden. Im 14. Jahrhundert machten die Rochechouart d'Aucors zu einer königlichen Festung. Dann wird ein «Versteck» über dem Vakuum hinzugefügt: es ist das aktuelle Haus, das im Süden ausgesetzt ist.
Im Jahr 1435 belagert, teilweise zerstört, wird es am Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts wieder aufgebaut und dann zu Beginn des 16. Jahrhunderts mit einem sechseckigen Treppenturm verbessert. Im Jahr 1577 erwarb François de Conan, Herr von Connezac, das Land für seinen jüngeren Sohn Jean, der 1617 das Haus reparierte, insbesondere die Südfassade mit ihren zwei Pfefferhütten.
Das Hoftor aus dem Jahr 1639 trägt einen Wappenschild einer Conan-Maillard-Allianz. On a rock overlooking the Nizonne, the castle of "Haute Corne" was founded by the d'Aucorn, mentioned in the 11th century. In the 14th century, the Rochechouart made Aucors a royal fortified castle. We then add a 'lair' above the void: it is the current dwelling exposed at noon.
Besieged in 1435, partly destroyed, it is raised at the end of the 15th century, then improved at the beginning of the 16th century with the addition of a hexagonal staircase tower. In 1577, François de Conan, lord of Connezac, acquires the land for his younger son Jean, who repairs the house in 1617, including the south facade with its two stovetops pepper.
The gate of the court, dated 1639, bears a shield bearing the arms of a Conan-Maillard alliance. The Conan d'Aucors died out in 1821 with Henri, cavalry colonel, a former émigré, who left the estate to his nephew, Thibault de Maillard La Combe, whose daughter married Auguste Dupin de Saint-Cyr.
These are the ancestors of the current owners, who will guide an architectural and archaeological visit, between great History and family history.

Assediata nel 1435, in parte distrutta, viene rialzata alla fine del XV secolo e poi migliorata all'inizio del XVI secolo con l'aggiunta di una torre esagonale. Nel 1577, François de Conan, signore di Connezac, acquista la terra per il suo figlio più giovane Jean, che ripara la casa nel 1617, in particolare la facciata sud con i suoi due grattacieli in pepe.

Sur un rocher dominant la Nizonne, le château de « Haute Corne » est fondé par les d’Aucorn, cités au XIᵉ siècle. Au XIVᵉ siècle, les Rochechouart font d’Aucors un château-fort royal. On ajoute alors un « repaire » au-dessus du vide : c’est l’actuel logis exposé au midi.
Assiégé en 1435, en partie détruit, il est relevé à la fin du XVe siècle, puis amélioré au début du XVIᵉ siècle avec l’ajout d’une tour d’escalier hexagonale. En 1577, François de Conan, seigneur de Connezac, acquiert la terre pour son fils cadet Jean, qui répare le logis en 1617, notamment la façade sud avec ses deux échauguettes en poivrière.
Le portail de la cour, daté de 1639, porte un écu aux armes d’une alliance Conan-Maillard. Les Conan d’Aucors s’éteignent en 1821 avec Henri, colonel de cavalerie, ancien émigré, qui laisse le domaine à son neveu, Thibault de Maillard La Combe, dont la fille épousera Auguste Dupin de Saint-Cyr.
