Erbaut im 16. Jahrhundert von den Bewohnern von Morlaix, um die Stadt vor englischen Plünderungen zu schützen, wurde das Schloss von Vauban auf Wunsch von Ludwig XIV. restauriert und erweitert. Er übernahm nacheinander die Funktionen der Verteidigung, des Gefängnisses, des Zweitwohnsitzes, dann der Segelschule, bevor er Anfang der 80er Jahre vom Ruin bedroht wurde.
Die Entdeckung dieses Forts am Meer ist eine echte Reise ins Herz der Geschichte.

Built in the sixteenth century by the inhabitants of Morlaix to protect the city from English looting, the castle of Taurus was restored and enlarged by Vauban, at the request of Louis XIV. He then successively assumed the functions of defense, prison, secondary residence, then sailing school before being threatened by ruin in the early 1980s.
The discovery of this fort at sea is a real journey to the heart of history.

Costruito nel XVI secolo dagli abitanti di Morlaix per proteggere la città dai saccheggi inglesi, il castello del Toro fu restaurato e ampliato da Vauban, su richiesta di Luigi XIV. Assunse successivamente le funzioni di difesa, di prigione, di residenza secondaria, poi di scuola di vela prima di essere minacciato dalla rovina all'inizio degli anni '80.
La scoperta di questo forte al mare è un vero e proprio viaggio nel cuore della storia.
