Eine Baustelle, die von den Archäologen des Inrap und des Archäologischen Dienstes von Indre-et-Loire (SADIL) durchgeführt wurde. Die Ausgrabungen enthüllten den vollständigen Plan: die Kirche, den Kreuzgang und die Klostergebäude der zu Beginn des 11. Jahrhunderts gegründeten Abtei von Beaumont-lès-Tours. Diese Abtei beherbergte bis 1790 Nonnen nach der Regel des Heiligen Benedikt, bevor sie an die Revolution verkauft wurde, und wurde dann abgebaut und 1913 in eine Kaserne umgewandelt.

Site exceptionally open to the public, site led by the archaeologists of Inrap and the Archaeological Service of Indre-et-Loire (SADIL). The excavations revealed the complete plan: the church, the cloister and the conventual buildings of the abbey of Beaumont-lès-Tours founded in the early 11th century. This abbey will host until 1790, nuns following the rule of Saint-Benoît before being sold to the Revolution, and will then be dismantled and transformed into barracks in 1913.

Sito eccezionalmente aperto al pubblico, cantiere condotto dagli archeologi dell'Inrap e del Servizio archeologico di Indre e Loira (SADIL). Gli scavi hanno portato alla luce la pianta completa: la chiesa, il chiostro e gli edifici conventuali dell'abbazia di Beaumont-lès-Tours fondata all'inizio dell'XI secolo. Questa abbazia ospiterà fino al 1790, religiose secondo la regola di San Benedetto prima di essere venduta alla Rivoluzione, e sarà poi smantellata e trasformata in caserma nel 1913.

Site ouvert exceptionnellement au public, chantier mené par les archéologues de l'Inrap et du Service archéologique d'Indre-et-Loire (SADIL). Les fouilles ont mis au jour le plan complet : l'église, le cloître et les bâtiments conventuels de l'abbaye de Beaumont-lès-Tours fondée au début du XIe siècle. Cette abbaye accueillera jusqu’en 1790, des religieuses suivant la règle de Saint-Benoît avant d'être vendu à la Révolution, et sera ensuite démantelée puis transformée en caserne en 1913.

Sitio abierto excepcionalmente al público, obra realizada por los arqueólogos del Inrap y del Servicio Arqueológico de Indre-et-Loire (SADIL). Las excavaciones han sacado a la luz el plan completo: la iglesia, el claustro y los edificios conventuales de la abadía de Beaumont-les-Tours fundada a principios del siglo XI. Esta abadía acogerá hasta 1790 a monjas según la regla de San Benito antes de ser vendidas a la Revolución, y luego será desmantelada y transformada en cuartel en 1913.
