Die Führung der Ausstellung wird selten aufgeworfene Themen behandeln, wie zum Beispiel Prosper Marilhats besondere Zuneigung zum mittelalterlichen und vor allem modernen Ägypten, dem er die bestmögliche Annäherung an das französische Publikum geben wollte. Marilhats unterschiedliche künstlerische Art wird auch mit einer Parallele zwischen diesen und ihren Gemütszuständen erwähnt. Der Schwerpunkt wird auch den verschiedenen Besitzern der präsentierten Werke gegeben, Sammler des 19. Jahrhunderts, deren Sensibilität sicher mit der des Malers selbst übereinstimmte.

The guided tour of the exhibition will address rarely raised themes such as the particular affection of Prosper Marilhat for medieval and especially modern Egypt to which he wanted to give the best possible approach to the French public. Marilhat’s different artistic ways will also be evoked with a parallel between these and his moods. La visita guidata della mostra affronterà temi raramente sollevati come ad esempio l'affetto speciale di Prosper Marilhat per l'Egitto medievale e soprattutto moderno, a cui ha voluto dare il miglior approccio possibile al pubblico francese. I diversi modi artistici di Marilhat saranno anche evocati con un parallelo tra questi e i suoi stati d'animo. L'accento sarà dato anche ai diversi proprietari delle opere presentate, collezionisti del XIX secolo la cui sensibilità si univa in modo sicuro a quella del pittore stesso.

La visite guidée de l’exposition abordera des thèmes rarement soulevés comme par exemple l’affection particulière de Prosper Marilhat pour l’Egypte médiévale et surtout moderne à laquelle il a tenu à donner la meilleure approche possible au public français. Les différentes manières artistiques de Marilhat seront également évoquées avec un parallèle entre celles-ci et ses états d’âme. L’accent sera également donné aux différents propriétaires des œuvres présentées, collectionneurs du XIXe siècle dont la sensibilité rejoignaient de façon sûre celle du peintre lui-même.

La visita guiada de la exposición abordará temas raramente planteados, como el afecto particular de Prosper Marilhat por el Egipto medieval y sobre todo moderno, a la que ha querido dar el mejor enfoque posible al público francés. Las diferentes formas artísticas de Marilhat también serán evocadas con un paralelo entre éstas y sus estados de ánimo. El acento se dará también a los diferentes propietarios de las obras presentadas, coleccionistas del siglo XIX cuya sensibilidad se unía de manera segura a la del propio pintor.
