Bomber HALIFAX MK3 LW692

Präsentation der Mission des Bombers Halifax LW692 des 420 Squadron der RCAF und seiner 7 Besatzungsmitglieder (2 Überlebende). Nach Untersuchungen konnte der Absturzort bestimmt und mit Zustimmung der DRAC Ausgrabungen durchgeführt werden. Es wurden Teile des Flugzeugs entdeckt. Einige Teile werden in der Nähe des Blockaus N°19 präsentiert.

Presentation of the mission of the Halifax LW692 bomber of the 420 RCAF Squadron and its 7 crew members (2 survivors). Following research work, the crash site could be determined and with the agreement of the DRAC excavations were carried out. They uncovered elements of this aircraft. Some parts will be presented near blockaus N°19.

Presentazione dello svolgimento della missione del bombardiere Halifax LW692 del 420 Squadron della RCAF e dei suoi 7 membri dell'equipaggio (2 sopravvissuti). In seguito a lavori di ricerca, è stato possibile determinare il luogo dell'incidente e con l'accordo della DRAC sono stati effettuati degli scavi. Hanno permesso di scoprire elementi di questo aereo. Alcuni pezzi saranno presentati vicino al blockaus N.

Présentation du déroulé de la mission du bombardier Halifax LW692 du 420 Squadron de la RCAF et de ses 7 membres d'équipage (2 survivants).
Suite à des travaux de recherches, le lieu du crash a pu être déterminé et avec l'accord de la DRAC des fouilles ont été réalisées. Elle ont permis de découvrir des éléments de cet avion. Certaines pièces seront présentées près du blockaus N°19.

Presentación del desarrollo de la misión del bombardero Halifax LW692 del 420 Squadron de la RCAF y de sus 7 miembros de tripulación (2 supervivientes). Tras una investigación, se pudo determinar el lugar del accidente y, con el acuerdo de la DRAC, se realizaron excavaciones. Se han descubierto elementos de este avión. Algunas piezas se presentarán cerca del bloque N o 19.
