Gegenüber der Kathedrale ist der überdachte Markt eines der wenigen Zeugnisse der Metallarchitektur, die in der zweiten Hälfte des 19\. Jahrhunderts im sogenannten Baltard-Stil in Mode war. Die Markthalle, die derzeit renoviert wird, bietet eine Ausstellung von 48 Postkarten zum Thema «Belle Epoque de Sens und Umgebung» (1880-1910).
