In Cumpagnia it is both singers and musicians united in the same desire to preserve the island’s musical heritage. It is these voices that give us a repertoire of sacred polyphonic songs (from the popular repertoire to Franciscan songs) and profane songs (from the Paghjella Madrigale e Terzetti to the Lamenti e canti d'amore), as well as many monodies. By the reconstitution of a popular instrumentarium and thanks to the work of artisans, traditional Corsican instruments such as cetera, pirula, pivana, cialamella find their nobility.
