Frolois bewahrt einen Relikt mit den Waffen der Haraucourts auf, mit einem Datum von 1544. In diesem wunderschönen Goldschmiedestück Renaissance befinden sich etwa 100 Reliquien, die auf beiden Seiten des Monsters verteilt sind. Dieses Relikt ist eine Gelegenheit, auf die Geschichte des Kults der Reliquien und Reliquien zurückzukommen, deren Aufgabe es ist, sie zu schützen und ihre Macht zu fördern. Parallel zum Gottesdienst der Heiligen, der am Ende der Antike begann, entwickelte sich die Verehrung ihrer Reliquien, ein Thema, das im Laufe der Jahrhunderte unterschiedliche Ansätze verfolgte und weiterhin Neugier oder Kontroversen weckte.

Frolois keeps a reliquary to the Haraucourt arms, dated 1544. This superb piece of Renaissance silverware contains a hundred relics distributed on both sides of the monstrance. This reliquary is an opportunity to review the history of the cult of relics and reliquaries in charge of protecting them and exalting their power. In parallel with the cult of the saints, which appeared at the end of antiquity, the veneration of their relics developed, a subject which knew different approaches over the centuries and which continues to arouse curiosity or controversy.

Frolois conserva un reliquiario alle armi degli Haraucourt, datato 1544. Questo splendido pezzo di oreficeria rinascimentale contiene un centinaio di reliquie sparse sulle due facce della mostruosità. Questo reliquiario è l'occasione per ritornare sulla storia del culto delle reliquie e dei reliquiari incaricati di proteggerle e di esaltare la loro potenza. Parallelamente al culto dei santi, apparso alla fine dell'antichità, si sviluppò la venerazione delle loro reliquie, un soggetto che conobbe diversi approcci nel corso dei secoli e che continua a suscitare curiosità o polemiche.

Frolois conserva un relicario con las armas de los Haraucourt, fechado en 1544. Esta magnífica pieza de orfebrería renacentista encierra un centenar de reliquias repartidas por las dos caras de la monstruosidad. Este relicario es la ocasión de repasar la historia del culto de las reliquias y de los relicarios encargados de protegerlas y de exaltar su poder. Paralelamente al culto de los santos, surgido al final de la antigüedad, se desarrolló la veneración de sus reliquias, un tema que conoció diversos enfoques a lo largo de los siglos y que sigue suscitando curiosidad o controversia.
