Die mittelalterlichen Überreste des Aquädukts des Klosterbrunnens wurden in den 1930er Jahren von Armand VIRE freigelegt. Die neuen Forschungen der Archäologin Angélique VAN DE LUITGAARDEN haben es ermöglicht, ihre Funktionsweise besser zu verstehen und den Untergrund der Abtei zu erkunden.

The medieval remains of the cloister’s fountain aqueduct were unearthed by Armand VIRE in the 1930s. The new research carried out by archaeologist Angélique VAN DE LUITGAARDEN has made it possible to better understand its functioning and explore the basement of the abbey.

I resti medievali dell'acquedotto della fontana del chiostro sono stati portati alla luce da Armand VIRE negli anni '30. Le nuove ricerche condotte dall'archeologa Angélique VAN DE LUITGAARDEN hanno permesso di comprendere meglio il suo funzionamento e di esplorare i sotterranei dell'abbazia.

Les vestiges médiévaux de l’aqueduc de la fontaine du cloître ont été mis au jour par Armand VIRE dans les années 1930. Les nouvelles recherches menées par l’archéologue Angélique VAN DE LUITGAARDEN ont permis de mieux comprendre son fonctionnement et d’explorer les sous-sols de l’abbaye.

Los restos medievales del acueducto de la fuente del claustro fueron descubiertos por Armand VIRE en los años 1930. Las nuevas investigaciones realizadas por la arqueóloga Angélique VAN DE LUITGAARDEN han permitido comprender mejor su funcionamiento y explorar los sótanos de la abadía.
