The Guided Tour offers exciting insights into the challenging storage of the extensive collection.
The 2 million inventorized finds from Augusta Raurica have finally been united under one roof since 2023. In the new collection center, Roman artifacts of very different materials are united - from the monumental Grabstein to the small Glasscherbe. All these find-type types have different storage and climate needs. How this is implemented in the depot and with which system the fundobjekte can be found, we will learn during this exciting tour!
