Die von Diderot initiierte und von Voltaire gepriesene Enzyklopädie war das größte Verlagsprojekt des 18. Jahrhunderts. Sie vermittelt das Wissen der Intellektuellen jener Zeit über die Wissenschaften, die Künste und die Handwerksberufe. Der Artikel über Tee konzentriert sich überraschenderweise auf japanischen Tee!
Nach einem kurzen Besuch in Les Délices, dem historischen Anwesen, in dem Voltaire lebte, und der Lektüre des 1765 verfassten Artikels können Sie am Tee-Workshop „Sencha und Matcha“ teilnehmen, die in der Encyclopédie erwähnt werden.

The Encyclopédie, initiated by Diderot and praised by Voltaire, was the greatest publishing undertaking of the 18th century. It showcases the knowledge that the intellectuals of the time possessed regarding the sciences, the arts, and the trades. Surprisingly, the article on tea focuses on Japanese tea!
After a brief tour of Les Délices, the historic home where Voltaire lived, and a look at the article written in 1765, you can take part in the "sencha and matcha" tea workshop, as mentioned in the Encyclopédie.

L'Encyclopédie initiée par Diderot et louée par Voltaire fut la plus grande entreprise éditoriale du 18e siècle. On y découvre le savoir qu’avaient les intellectuels de l’époque sur les sciences, les arts et les métiers. L'article consacré au thé se concentre étonnamment sur le thé japonais!
Après une petite visite des Délices, maison patrimoniale où vécut Voltaire, et l'exploration de l'article rédigé en 1765, vous pourrez participer à l'atelier de thés "sencha et matcha", cités dans l'Encyclopédie.
