EUROPEAN NIGHT OF MUSEUMS
Saturday, May 23 from 7 PM to midnight
It is at nightfall that the Réattu museum reveals all the charm of its venerable courtyards, its stairs and theatrical loggias, as well as the unique atmosphere of its rooms, which give the impression of being a bit like home... So take advantage of the Night of the museums of Arles to discover or rediscover the place and its collections, as well as the many artistic projects developed throughout the year with the pu blics, which will be unveiled to you for the occasion.
The Class, the work: "The return of Venus"
Throughout the year, the students of the 6th grade 3 of the Van Gogh school immersed themselves in the history of the Venus of Arles to propose original staging in the form of dioramas, retracing notably its discovery in 1651 or its installation in the Ice Age at Versailles in the 17th century. For this Night of museums, they invite you to a journey through the city, to meet the statue and their creations: by visiting the Réattu Museum, the Departmental Arles Antique Museum and the Arlaten Museon, you can collect photographs and compose your own album-photo of the Venus of Arles.
The Real Prize for emerging creation
The Young Friends of the museum will introduce you to the winner of the Réattu Prize for emerging creation, revealed in April, and offer a festive moment to close the last exhibition weekend in style.
The Réattu Academy
The students of "l'Académie Réattu" as well as Master 1 and Master 2 students from MoPA school, will exhibit their most beautiful creations inspired by the drawings and paintings of Jacques Réattu and many other artists.
All Artists!
In the Sainte-Luce commandery, the exhibition highlights the creations made throughout the year during the various workshops led by the public service. You will be able to discover a selection of "Keepsake" created by the participants in the teen internship led by the artist Suzanne Hetzel. And, as every year, the exhibition will last 15 days, to make the pleasure of the Night of the Museums last!

NUIT EUROPÉENNE DES MUSÉES

C’est à la nuit tombée que le musée Réattu révèle tout le charme de ses cours vénérables, de ses escaliers et loggias théâtrales, ainsi que l’ambiance unique de ses salles, qui donnent l’impression d’être un peu comme à la maison… Profitez donc de la Nuit des musées d’Arles pour découvrir ou redécouvrir le lieu et ses collections, ainsi que les nombreux projets ar tistiques développés toute l’année avec les pu blics, qui vous seront dévoilés pour l’occasion.
La Classe, l’œuvre : « Le retour de Vénus »
Tout au long de l’année, les élèves de la 6e 3 du collège Van Gogh se sont plongés dans l’histoire de la Vénus d’Arles pour en proposer des mises en scène originales sous forme de dioramas, retraçant notamment sa découverte en 1651 ou son installation dans la ga lerie des Glaces à Versailles au XVIIe siècle. Pour cette Nuit des musées, ils vous invitent à un parcours à travers la ville, à la rencontre de la statue et de leurs créations : en pas sant par le Musée Réattu, le Musée départemental Arles Antique et le Museon Arlaten, vous pourrez collecter des photographies et composer votre propre album-photo de la Vénus d’Arles.
Le Prix Réattu de la création émergente
Les Jeunes Amis du musée vous feront découvrir l’artiste lauréat du Prix Réattu pour la création émergente, révélé au mois d’avril, et proposeront un moment festif pour clore le dernier week-end d’exposition en beauté.
L’Académie Réattu
Les élèves de « l’Académie Réattu » ainsi que des étudiants de Master 1 et Master 2 de l’école MoPA, exposeront leurs plus belles créations inspirées des dessins et peintures de Jacques Réattu et bien d’autres artistes.
Tous Artistes !
Dans la commanderie Sainte-Luce, l’exposition met en lumière les créations réalisées toute l’année au cours des différents ateliers menés par le service des publics. Vous pourrez y découvrir notamment une sélection de « Keepsake » créés par les participants au stage ado mené par l’artiste Suzanne Hetzel. Et, comme chaque année, l’exposition durera 15 jours, histoire de faire durer le plaisir de la Nuit des Musées !
