Die Hospitalskapelle Layné von Mont-de-Marsan: eine Architektur und ein Art-Deco-Programm
Vortrag von Vincent Mateos, Departementsorger für Antiquitäten und Kunstgegenstände
Die Kapelle Notre-Dame wurde aus Stahlbeton nach den Plänen des Architekten Franck Bonnefous von Nantes zwischen 1937 und 1939, dann 1951 für die Installation seiner Glocke gebaut.
Der Architekt, der bereits 1934 mit der Planung des Krankenhauses beauftragt wurde, rief die größten Künstler seiner Zeit auf, um die Kapelle zu schmücken:
- Lucien Danglade für den Hauptaltar und das Taufbecken
- Raymond Subes für die Kunstschmiedearbeiten
- Honorar für die Goldschmiedekunst
- Fernand Py für die Krippe
Die Antiquitäten und Kunstgegenstände, die unter dem Denkmalschutz stehen und vom Krankenhaus Layné aufbewahrt werden, werden bei dieser Gelegenheit präsentiert.

The Layné Hospital Chapel of Mont-de-Marsan: an Art Deco architecture and program
Lecture by Vincent Mateos, Departmental Curator of Antiques and Objets d'Art
The Notre-Dame hospital chapel was built in reinforced concrete, according to plans by the architect from Mons, Franck Bonnefous, between 1937 and 1939, then in 1951 for the installation of its bell.
The architect, responsible from 1934 for designing the plans of the hospital, called upon the greatest artists of his time to adorn the chapel:
- Lucien Danglade for the high altar and the baptismal font
- Raymond Subes for the art metalwork
- Chéret for silverwork
- Fernand Py for the daycare
The Antiques and Objets d'Art protected under the title of Historical Monuments and preserved by the Layné hospital will be presented on this occasion.

Conferenza di Vincent Mateos, Conservatore dipartimentale delle Antichità e degli Oggetti d'Arte
La cappella ospedaliera di Notre-Dame fu costruita in cemento armato, su progetto dell'architetto di Nantes Franck Bonnefous, tra il 1937 e il 1939, poi nel 1951 per l'installazione della sua campana.
L'architetto, incaricato fin dal 1934 di disegnare i piani dell'ospedale, fece appello ai più grandi artisti del suo tempo per decorare la cappella:
- Lucien Danglade per l'altare maggiore e il fonte battesimale
- Raymond Subes per la lavorazione di oggetti d'arte
- Corone per l'oreficeria
- Fernand Py per il presepe
Le antichità e gli oggetti d'arte protetti come monumenti storici e conservati dall'ospedale Layné saranno presentati in questa occasione.

La chapelle hospitalière Notre-Dame fut édifiée en béton armé, sur les plans de l’architecte montois Franck Bonnefous, entre 1937 et 1939, puis en 1951 pour l’installation de sa cloche.
L’architecte, chargé dès 1934 de concevoir les plans de l’hôpital, fit appel aux plus grands artistes de son époque pour orner la chapelle :
- Lucien Danglade pour le maître-autel et les fonts baptismaux
- Raymond Subes pour les ferronneries d’art
- Chéret pour l’orfèvrerie
- Fernand Py pour la crèche
Les Antiquités et Objets d’Art protégés au titre des Monuments historiques et conservés par l’hôpital Layné seront présentés à cette occasion.

La capilla hospitalaria de Notre-Dame fue construida en hormigón armado, según los planos del arquitecto de Nantes Franck Bonnefous, entre 1937 y 1939, y luego en 1951 para la instalación de su campana.
El arquitecto, encargado desde 1934 de diseñar los planos del hospital, hizo un llamamiento a los más grandes artistas de su época para adornar la capilla:
- Lucien Danglade por el altar mayor y la fuente bautismal
- Raymond Subes por los trabajos de herrería
- Mérito por la orfebrería
- Fernand Py para el pesebre
Las antigüedades y objetos de arte protegidos como monumentos históricos y conservados por el hospital Layné se presentarán en esta ocasión.
