Architecture of the breath

By mobilizing ancestral practices such as basketry and fermentation, this work questions new ways of inhabiting the world, sensitive and symbiotic. It explores the possibility of an architecture in close connection with ecosystems, where the human gesture is part of a continuity with the living.
The structures presented are prototypes, fragments of an ongoing research, with a view to creating a mycelium dome 8 meters in diameter. They also draw a way to extend the network of mycelium in urban areas, and revive a sense of interdependence with the agricultural and natural environment, still so present around Aix-en-Provence.

Al movilizar prácticas ancestrales como la mimbrería y la fermentación, esta obra interroga nuevas formas de habitar el mundo, sensibles y simbióticas. Explora la posibilidad de una arquitectura en estrecha relación con los ecosistemas, donde el gesto humano se inscribe en una continuidad con lo vivo.
Las estructuras presentadas son prototipos, fragmentos de una investigación en curso, con vistas a la realización de una cúpula de 8 metros de diámetro en micelio. También dibujan una manera de extender la red del micelio en medio urbano, y de reavivar un sentimiento de interdependencia con el entorno agrícola y natural, aún tan presente alrededor de Aix-en-Provence.
