HOME/LAND hinterfragt den Begriff «zu Hause» durch die Resonanz einer Vielzahl von Zeugnissen, die vom Exil, von Ursprüngen, von Andersartigkeit, von abgerissenen oder wiedergefundenen Wurzeln sprechen. Durch das Eintauchen in singuläre Erzählungen wird die Öffentlichkeit dazu gebracht, ihre eigene Geschichte zu hinterfragen.
Wie beeinflussen die Orte, an denen wir gelebt haben, was wir sind?
Als lebendige Installation konzipiert, durchläuft HOME/LAND sanft und ohne zeitliche Zwänge. Eine sensible und partizipative Erfahrung, die von der Identität und dem vergänglichen Charakter aller Dinge spricht.
Eine intime, persönliche und kollektive Reise zugleich.
Begat Theater bringt französische und amerikanische Künstler zusammen, um das Theater auf die Straße zu bringen, die Grenzen zwischen Realität und Fantasie zu erkunden und starke und bewegende Geschichten zu erzählen, die von zeitgenössischen Autoren inspiriert sind.
Die Kompanie entwickelt eine Form des multidisziplinären Theaters, das auf der Suche nach neuen Repräsentationsräumen und neuen Beziehungen zwischen Schauspieler/Zuschauer ist (ungewöhnlicher Raum/ aktiver Betrachter).

Im Rahmen der europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes HOME/LAND ist geplant:
- Am 19/09/25 für Sitzungen, die nur für Schüler von 10.00 bis 12.00 Uhr + 13.30 bis 15.30 Uhr reserviert sind
- Am 20/09/25 für Sitzungen der breiten Öffentlichkeit 14h-18h
Die Anlage ist am 20. September von 14.00 bis 18.00 Uhr für die breite Öffentlichkeit durchgehend geöffnet, freier Eintritt, Besuch im Jardin des Cordeliers.
11 Zeitfenster zu folgenden Zeiten: 14.00 - 14.15 - 14.30 - 14.45 - 15.15 - 15.45 - 16.15 - 16.15 - 16.30 - 16.45.

HOME/LAND questions the notion of 'home' by bringing into resonance a multitude of testimonies that speak of exile, origins, otherness, torn or rediscovered roots. By diving into singular narratives, the audience is led to question their own history.
How do the places where we have lived influence who we are?
Conceived as a living installation, HOME/LAND moves through gently, without any imposed temporality. A sensitive and participative experience that talks about the identity and ephemeral nature of everything.
An intimate, personal and collective journey at the same time.
Begat Theater brings together French and American artists to take the theatre into the street, explore the boundaries between reality and imagination, and tell strong and moving stories inspired by contemporary authors.
The company develops a form of multidisciplinary theatre in search of new spaces for representation and new actor/spectator relationships (unusual space/ active spectator).

As part of the European Heritage Days, HOME/LAND is scheduled for:
- On 19/09/25 for sessions reserved for school students 10am-12pm + 1:30 PM-3:30 PM
- On 09/20/25 for general public sessions from 2 PM to 6 PM
The installation is open continuously on September 20 from 2 PM to 6 PM for the general public, with free admission, go to the Cordeliers garden.
11 slots at the following times: 14h – 14h15 – 14h30 – 14h45 – 15h – 15h15 – 15h45 – 16h – 16h15 – 16h30 – 16h45.

HOME/LAND interroga la nozione di «casa» mettendo in risonanza una moltitudine di testimonianze che parlano di esilio, di origini, di alterità, di radici strappate o ritrovate. Immergendosi in racconti singolari, il pubblico è portato a mettere in discussione la propria storia.
Come influiscono i luoghi in cui abbiamo vissuto su ciò che siamo?
Concepito come un'installazione vivente, HOME/LAND si attraversa con dolcezza, senza temporalità imposta. Un'esperienza sensibile e partecipativa che parla dell'identità e della fugacità di ogni cosa.
Un percorso intimo, personale e collettivo allo stesso tempo.
Begat Theater riunisce artisti francesi e americani per portare il teatro in strada, esplorare i confini tra realtà e immaginazione e raccontare storie forti e commoventi ispirate a autori contemporanei.
La compagnia sviluppa una forma di teatro multidisciplinare alla ricerca di nuovi spazi di rappresentazione e nuove relazioni attore/spettatore (spazio insolito/ spettatore attivo).

¿Cómo influyen los lugares en los que hemos vivido?

Begat Theater reúne a artistas franceses y americanos para llevar el teatro a la calle, explorar las fronteras entre lo real e imaginario y contar historias fuertes y conmovedoras inspiradas en autores contemporáneos.
