Ausstellung von Oldtimern/ Einweihung der Restaurierung des Lavoir de Cocherel
Das Rathaus von Houlbec-Cocherel im Vallée de l'Eure lädt alle Kulturliebhaber ein, sich am Samstag, dem 20. September, auf der Fähre unseres Dorfes zu einer Ausstellung von Oldtimern von 11.00 bis 15.00 Uhr zu treffen. Es folgt die Einweihung der Restaurierung des Lavoir de Cocherel am Ufer der Eure um 16.00 Uhr.
Die Ausstellung zeigt eine Auswahl an amerikanischen, europäischen und japanischen Oldtimern mit Snacks, preiswerten Getränken und unschätzbarer Freundlichkeit. Wie im Jahr 2024 wird es eine einzigartige und aufregende Demonstration von mechanischem Einfallsreichtum kombiniert mit historischen Merkmalen und Designs sein.
Die Einweihung wird eine historische und technische Beschreibung der Restaurierung des Lavoir de Cocherel enthalten, gefolgt von einem Freundschaftskpot, der vom Rathaus angeboten wird. Dieses architektonische Relikt aus der Vergangenheit, das an die denkmalgeschützte Brücke und die Moulin de Cocherel anschließt, wurde nach seiner Tradition vollständig restauriert. Die Waschhäuser waren der erste Ort, an dem Frauen das Haus ohne ihre Ehemänner oder Eltern verlassen durften, um zu plaudern und Klatsch auszutauschen, während sie durch Kleidung für viel bessere Hygiene und Wohlbefinden sorgten, saubere Bettwäsche und Handtücher, was wir heute als selbstverständlich ansehen.
Das Rathaus von Houlbec-Cocherel freut sich, Sie am Samstag, den 20. September im Rahmen der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes zu begrüßen und mit Ihnen sein Erbe zu teilen.

Exhibition of vintage cars/ Inauguration of the restoration of the Lavoir de Cocherel
The town hall of Houlbec-Cocherel, in the Eure Valley, invites all heritage enthusiasts to meet on the fairground of our village for an exhibition of vintage cars, from 11am to 3pm, on Saturday, September 20th. It will be followed by the inauguration of the restoration of the Lavoir de Cocherel, on the banks of the Eure, at 4pm.
The exhibition will feature a selection of American, European and Japanese vintage cars, along with snacks, reasonably priced drinks and invaluable friendliness. As in 2024, it will be a unique and exciting demonstration of mechanical ingenuity combined with vintage features and designs.
The inauguration will include a historical and technical description of the restoration of the Lavoir de Cocherel, followed by a friendship pot offered by the Town Hall. This architectural vestige of yesteryear, adjacent to the listed bridge and the Moulin de Cocherel, has undergone a complete restoration, faithful to its tradition. Laundries were the first place where women were allowed to leave home without their husbands or parents, chatting and gossiping, while ensuring much better hygiene and well-being through clothing, clean sheets and towels, which we take for granted today.
The Town Hall of Houlbec-Cocherel is pleased to welcome you and share with you its heritage on Saturday, September 20 as part of the European Heritage Days.

Esposizione di auto d'epoca/ Inaugurazione del restauro del Lavoir de Cocherel
Il comune di Houlbec-Cocherel, nella Valle dell'Eure, invita tutti gli appassionati del patrimonio a ritrovarsi sulla funivia del nostro villaggio per una mostra di auto d'epoca, dalle 11 alle 15, sabato 20 settembre. Sarà seguita dall'inaugurazione del restauro del Lavoir de Cocherel, sulle rive dell'Eure, alle ore 16.00.
La mostra presenterà una selezione di auto d'epoca americane, europee e giapponesi, accompagnate da spuntini, bevande a prezzi ragionevoli e un'impagabile convivialità. Come nel 2024, sarà una dimostrazione unica ed emozionante di ingegnosità meccanica unita a caratteristiche e design d'epoca.
L'inaugurazione comprenderà una descrizione storica e tecnica del restauro del Lavoir de Cocherel, seguito da un piatto di amicizia offerto dal Comune. Questo vestigio architettonico d'altri tempi, adiacente al ponte classificato e al Moulin de Cocherel, beneficia di un restauro completo, fedele alla sua tradizione. I lavatoi sono stati il primo luogo in cui le donne potevano uscire di casa senza la presenza del marito o dei genitori, chiacchierare e scambiarsi pettegolezzi, garantendo una igiene e un benessere molto migliori grazie all'abbigliamento, lenzuola e asciugamani puliti, cosa che oggi diamo per scontata.
Il Comune di Houlbec-Cocherel è lieto di accogliervi e condividere con voi il suo patrimonio sabato 20 settembre nell'ambito delle Giornate europee del patrimonio.

La mairie d'Houlbec-Cocherel, dans la Vallée de l'Eure, invite tous les passionnés de patrimoine à se retrouver sur le foirail de notre village pour une exposition de voitures d'époque, de 11h à 15h, le samedi 20 septembre. Elle sera suivie de l'inauguration de la restauration du Lavoir de Cocherel, sur les bords de l'Eure, à 16h.
L'inauguration comprendra une description historique et technique de la restauration du Lavoir de Cocherel, suivie d'un pot d'amitié offert par la Mairie. Ce vestige architectural d'antan, attenant au pont classé et au Moulin de Cocherel, bénéficie d'une restauration complète, fidèle à sa tradition. Les lavoirs ont été le premier lieu où les femmes étaient autorisées à quitter la maison sans la présence de leur mari ou de leurs parents, à bavarder et à échanger des ragots, tout en garantissant une hygiène et un bien-être bien meilleurs grâce à des vêtements, des draps et des serviettes propres, chose que nous considérons comme acquise aujourd'hui.
La Mairie d'Houlbec-Cocherel se réjouit de vous accueillir et de partager avec vous son patrimoine le samedi 20 septembre dans le cadre des Journées Européennes du Patrimoine.

Exposición de coches de época/ Inauguración de la restauración del Lavoir de Cocherel
El ayuntamiento de Houlbec-Cocherel, en el Valle del Eure, invita a todos los amantes del patrimonio a reunirse en el foirail de nuestro pueblo para una exposición de coches de época, de 11h a 15h, el sábado 20 de septiembre. Será seguida por la inauguración de la restauración del Lavoir de Cocherel, a orillas del Eure, a las 16h.
La exposición presentará una selección de coches clásicos americanos, europeos y japoneses, acompañados de aperitivos, bebidas a precios razonables y una convivencia inestimable. Como en 2024, será una demostración única y emocionante de ingenio mecánico combinado con características y diseños de época.
La inauguración incluirá una descripción histórica y técnica de la restauración del Lavoir de Cocherel, seguida de un vaso de amistad ofrecido por el Ayuntamiento. Este vestigio arquitectónico de antaño, junto al puente clasificado y el molino de Cocherel, se beneficia de una restauración completa, fiel a su tradición. Los lavaderos fueron el primer lugar donde se permitió a las mujeres salir de casa sin la presencia de sus maridos o padres, charlar e intercambiar chismes, garantizando una higiene y un bienestar mucho mejores gracias a la ropa, Sábanas y toallas limpias, algo que hoy damos por sentado.
El Ayuntamiento de Houlbec-Cocherel espera darle la bienvenida y compartir con usted su patrimonio el sábado 20 de septiembre en el marco de las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio.
