GOSPEL SOLEIL ist ein Pianist und eine Handvoll Sängerinnen, die sich um Bissa (Chorleiterin) in einer kommunikativen Energie versammelt haben. Das Repertoire bezieht sich hauptsächlich auf die unverzichtbaren Standards des englischsprachigen Gospels (Down by the riverside, Oh when the Saints, Happy day...), aber auch auf das afrikanische Repertoire (Muaribaba, Zambeu ma atat, Ozali Zambe...). Die Gelegenheit, auch Autoren zu entdecken, die der breiten Öffentlichkeit nicht unbedingt bekannt sind, wie Yolanda Adams oder Donnie McClurkin.
