Frank Loriou war lange Zeit der einzige Fotograf, der vom unerschrockenen und geheimnisvollen Jean-Louis Murat autorisiert wurde, mit dem er etwa zwanzig Jahre lang eine privilegierte Verbindung unterhielt.
Der Künstler berief ihn regelmäßig in seine Länder in der Auvergne, um sich seinem Ziel zu widmen, wobei der Fotograf manchmal drei Tage auf die Minuten wartete, die der Künstler ihm widmen wollte.
Reichsgeneral inmitten der Kühe, im Hemd aber ohne Hosen oder beim Sammeln von Johannisbeeren. Sie haben zusammen 9 Albumcover und mehrere Fotosessions, ausschließlich argentisch, realisiert.
Frank Loriou enthüllt heute diesen Schatz an Bildern in Form eines Hommage-Buches, das 150 Farbfotografien umfasst, die meisten davon unveröffentlicht, und die detaillierte Erzählung ihrer künstlerischen Zusammenarbeit, aber auch einer einfühlsamen und intensiven Ausstellung, die aus demselben Buch entnommen wurde.
Diese Ausstellung wird in Partnerschaft mit der Manufaktur von Saint-Quentin angeboten. Sie ist vom Samstag, den 19. September bis Donnerstag, den 1. Oktober in der Mediathek und dann von Dienstag, den 6., bis Samstag, den 10. Oktober in der Manufaktur zu sehen.
Eine kommentierte Führung durch die Ausstellung wird am Samstag, den 26. September um 15 Uhr von dem Künstler Frank Loriou in der Mediathek vorgeschlagen und wird gefolgt von einem Austausch-Vortrag mit Cédric Barré rund um Jean-Louis Murat um 16 Uhr.

A treasure trove of exclusive and previously unseen film images
Frank Loriou was for a long time the only photographer authorized by the fierce and secret Jean-Louis Murat, with whom he maintained a privileged relationship for twenty years.
The artist regularly summoned him to his lands in Auvergne to indulge in his objective, the photographer sometimes waiting three days for the minutes that the artist would like to devote to him,
General of the Empire among cows, in shirts but without pants, or picking currants. Together, they created 9 album covers and several photo sessions, exclusively for film.
Frank Loriou unveils today this treasure of images in the form of a tribute book including 150 color photographs, most of them previously unpublished,¬¬¬¬¬and the detailed account of their artistic collaboration¬¬, but also of a sensitive and intense exhibition, extracted from the same book.
This exhibition is offered in partnership with the Manufacture de Saint-Quentin. It will be visible from Saturday 19 September to Thursday 1 October at the Médiathèque, then from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 10 October at the Manufacture.
A guided tour of the exhibition will be offered by the artist Frank Loriou at the Médiathèque on Saturday, September 26 at 3 p.m., and will be followed by a conference-discussion with Cédric Barré about Jean-Louis Murat at 4 p.m.

Frank Loriou è stato a lungo l'unico fotografo autorizzato dal feroce e segreto Jean-Louis Murat, con il quale ha mantenuto un legame privilegiato per circa vent'anni.
L'artista lo convocava regolarmente nelle sue terre dell'Auvergne per raggiungere il suo obiettivo, mentre il fotografo a volte aspettava tre giorni i minuti che l'artista volesse dedicargli,
generale d'Impero in mezzo alle mucche, con la camicia ma senza pantaloni, o raccogliendo ribes. Hanno realizzato insieme 9 copertine di album e diverse sessioni fotografiche, esclusivamente argentiche.
Frank Loriou svela oggi questo tesoro di immagini sotto forma di un libro omaggio comprendente 150 fotografie a colori, per lo più inedite, e il racconto dettagliato della loro collaborazione artistica, ma anche di una mostra sensibile e intensa, estratta da questo stesso libro.
Questa mostra è proposta in collaborazione con la Manifattura di Saint-Quentin. Sarà visibile da sabato 19 settembre a giovedì 1 ottobre alla Mediateca, e poi da martedì 6 a sabato 10 ottobre alla Manifattura.
Una visita commentata dell'esposizione sarà proposta dall'artista Frank Loriou alla Médiathèque sabato 26 settembre alle 15, e sarà seguita da una conferenza-scambio con Cédric Barré intorno a Jean-Louis Murat alle 16.

Frank Loriou fut longtemps le seul photographe autorisé par le farouche et secret Jean-Louis Murat, avec qui il entretiendra un lien privilégié pendant une vingtaine d’années.
L’artiste le convoqua régulièrement sur ses terres auvergnates pour se livrer à son objectif, le photographe attendant parfois trois jours les minutes que l’artiste voudra bien lui consacrer,
général d’Empire au milieu des vaches, en chemise mais sans pantalon, ou cueillant des groseilles. Ils réalisèrent ensemble 9 pochettes d’albums et plusieurs sessions photos, exclusivement argentiques.
Frank Loriou dévoile aujourd’hui ce trésor d’images sous la forme d’un livre hommage comprenant 150 photographies couleurs, pour la plupart inédites,¬¬¬¬et le récit détaillé de leur collaboration artistique¬¬, mais aussi d’une exposition sensible et intense, extraite de ce même livre.
Cette exposition est proposée en partenariat avec la Manufacture de Saint-Quentin. Elle sera visible du samedi 19 septembre au jeudi 1er octobre à la Médiathèque, puis du mardi 6 au samedi 10 octobre à la Manufacture.

Frank Loriou fue durante mucho tiempo el único fotógrafo autorizado por el feroz y secreto Jean-Louis Murat, con quien mantendrá un vínculo privilegiado durante unos veinte años.
El artista lo convocaba regularmente a sus tierras de Auvernia para entregarse a su objetivo, el fotógrafo esperaba a veces tres días los minutos que el artista quisiera dedicarle,
general del Imperio en medio de las vacas, con camisa pero sin pantalones, o recogiendo grosellas. Juntos realizaron 9 carátulas de álbumes y varias sesiones fotográficas, exclusivamente argenticas.
Frank Loriou revela hoy este tesoro de imágenes en forma de un libro homenaje que incluye 150 fotografías en color, la mayoría inéditas, y el relato detallado de su colaboración artística, pero también de una exposición sensible e intensa, extraída de ese mismo libro.
Esta exposición se ofrece en colaboración con la Manufactura de Saint-Quentin. Estará visible del sábado 19 de septiembre al jueves 1 de octubre en la Médiathèque, y luego del martes 6 al sábado 10 de octubre en la Manufactura.
Una visita comentada de la exposición será propuesta por el artista Frank Loriou en la Médiathèque el sábado 26 de septiembre a las 15h, y será seguida por una conferencia-intercambio con Cédric Barré alrededor de Jean-Louis Murat a las 16h.
