Der Schlosspark von Budatín ist der älteste Park in und um Žilina. Dieser historische Park, der auf englische Weise angelegt ist, gehört zum Gebiet des Schlosses in der Nähe des Zusammenflusses der Flüsse Váh und Kysuca. Auf einer Fläche von 4,7 Hektar beherbergt er heute etwa dreißig Baumarten, das sind mehr als 300 Bäume. Der Park wird vom Museum der Region Považie verwaltet und organisiert zahlreiche Veranstaltungen und Aktivitäten. Seit 1963 als nationales Kulturdenkmal klassifiziert, beherbergt es eine 350 Jahre alte, großblättrige Linde, die Platanus hispanica, deren Umfang 603 Zentimeter erreicht. Diese Platane, die in der Nähe der südwestlichen Ecke des Schlosses wächst, gewann 2016 den Titel "Baum des Jahres" in der Slowakei.

The park of the Budatín castle is the oldest park in Žilina and its surroundings. It is historical park in natural-landscaped English style. It is part of the castle area near to the confluence of two rivers - Váh and Kysuca. Its area is 4,7 hectares. Nowadays around 30 kinds of trees - more than 300 individual trees - grow there. Park is in the administration of the Museum of the Považie region which organises many popular events and activities in the area of the Budatín castle and park. From 1963 the park is the national cultural monument. The biggest and the highest tree is large-leaved lime which is 350 years old. Platanus hispanica with circumference of strain 603 centimetres, which grows near to the south-western corner of the castle, won slovak competition ,,Tree of the year" in 2016.

Con una superficie di 4,7 ettari, oggi ospita una trentina di specie arboree, ovvero più di 300 alberi. Gestito dal Museo della regione di Považie, il parco ospita numerosi eventi e attività popolari. Classificato come monumento culturale nazionale dal 1963, ospita un tiglio dalle grandi foglie di 350 anni, il Platanus hispanica, la cui circonferenza raggiunge i 603 centimetri. Questo platano, che cresce vicino all'angolo sud-ovest del castello, ha vinto il titolo di "Albero dell'anno" in Slovacchia nel 2016.

Le parc du château de Budatín est le plus ancien parc de Žilina et de ses environs. Ce parc historique, aménagé à l'anglaise, fait partie du domaine du château, près du confluent des rivières Váh et Kysuca. D'une superficie de 4,7 hectares, il abrite aujourd'hui une trentaine d'espèces d'arbres, soit plus de 300 arbres. Géré par le Musée de la région de Považie, le parc organise de nombreuses manifestations et activités populaires. Classé monument culturel national depuis 1963, il abrite un tilleul à grandes feuilles de 350 ans, le Platanus hispanica, dont la circonférence atteint 603 centimètres. Ce platane, qui pousse près de l'angle sud-ouest du château, a remporté le titre d'« Arbre de l'année » en Slovaquie en 2016.

Administrado por el Museo de la región de Považie, el parque organiza numerosos eventos y actividades populares. Clasificado como monumento cultural nacional desde 1963, alberga un tilo de grandes hojas de 350 años, el Platanus hispanica, cuya circunferencia alcanza los 603 centímetros. Este plátano, que crece cerca de la esquina suroeste del castillo, ganó el título de "Árbol del año" en Eslovaquia en 2016.
