Im 11. Jahrhundert erbaut, wurde sie vom Herrn von Layrac an die mächtige Abtei von Cluny gegeben, gleichzeitig mit der Kirche Saint-Martin de Layrac.
Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurde sie mehrmals umgebaut, bewahrt jedoch zwei bemerkenswerte romanische Kapitelle, die auf dem triumphalen Bogen des Chores geschnitzt sind. Dort können Sie auch interessante und überraschende Steinezeichen sowie die Überreste einer gotischen Wandmalerei entdecken, die den Tetramorphen darstellt.

Come and discover the history of Amans, a village that was once much more important, and its church that is now in ruins.
Built in the 11th century, it was given by the lord of Layrac to the powerful abbey of Cluny, at the same time as the church of Saint-Martin de Layrac.
Several times reworked over the centuries, it nevertheless preserves two remarkable Romanesque capitals carved on the triumphal arch of the choir. You can also discover interesting and surprising stone markings, as well as the remains of a Gothic mural depicting the Tetramorph.

Edificata nell'XI secolo, fu donata dal signore di Layrac alla potente abbazia di Cluny, contemporaneamente alla chiesa di Saint-Martin de Layrac.
Più volte rimaneggiata nel corso dei secoli, conserva tuttavia due notevoli capitelli romanici scolpiti sull'arco trionfale del coro. Potrete anche scoprire interessanti e sorprendenti lapidari, così come i resti di una pittura murale gotica che rappresenta il Tetramorfo.
