Nach etwa dreißig Jahren Sendezeit endete 1994 die Fernsehsendung "Meisterwerke in Gefahr"; Das für 1980 (im Ministerrat) beschlossene "Jahr des Kulturerbes" sollte "die Gelegenheit sein, Interesse zu bekunden, das kollektive Erbe zu erhalten und zu bereichern, das eines der schönsten der Welt ist und als solches geliebt, bewahrt und gepflegt werden muss... eine Herausforderung für die Zukunft in einer heute unsicheren Welt darstellt..."; Satz einer schockierenden Nachricht im Jahr 2026, sowohl das laufende Gespräch als auch das Wissen fehlen manchmal, abgesehen von einem punktuellen Fokus wie den JEP.
