Der Telegraph Chappe vom Plan des Bären von Saint-André,
Erbaut 1806 auf Wunsch Napoleons, funktionierte es bis 1814. Die 2010 vollständig sanierte Station war Teil der historischen Telegrafenlinie zwischen Paris und Venedig. Sein Mechanismus, mit der Anzeige seiner 92 verschiedenen Signale, verbunden mit einem spezifischen Vokabular, ermöglicht das Senden von codierten Nachrichten. Das Hotel liegt 200 m vom Parkplatz für Autos und Busse entfernt und ist für begleitete Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität zugänglich.

Heute sind von den 23 rehabilitierten Posten die drei in Haute Maurienne die einzigen in Frankreich, die miteinander kommunizieren können und so wie vor 220 Jahren verschlüsselte Nachrichten übermitteln.
Die Telegrafen vom Plan de l'Ours in Saint-André auf 1800 m, vom Courberon nach Avrieux auf 2000 m und vom Mollard Fleury auf 2004m waren drei der dreiunddreißig der Telegrafenlinie zwischen Lyon und Turin zwischen 1806 und 1814.

The Chappe telegraph of the Saint-André bear plan,
Built in 1806, at the request of Napoleon, it operated until 1814. Fully rehabilitated in 2010, this station was part of the historic telegraph line connecting Paris to Venice. Its mechanism, with the display of its 92 different signals, associated with a specific vocabulary, allows the sending of coded messages. Located 200 m from the car and coach parking, it is accessible to people with reduced mobility accompanied.

Today, out of the twenty-three rehabilitated stations, the three Haute Maurienne stations are the only ones in France to be able to communicate with each other and thus transmit coded messages as they did 220 years ago.

Costruito nel 1806 su richiesta di Napoleone, è rimasto in funzione fino al 1814. Completamente riabilitato nel 2010, questa stazione faceva parte della storica linea telegrafica che collegava Parigi a Venezia. Il suo meccanismo, con la visualizzazione dei suoi 92 segnali diversi, associati a un vocabolario specifico, permette l'invio di messaggi codificati. Situato a 200 m dal parcheggio auto e pullman, è accessibile alle persone a mobilità ridotta accompagnate.

Situé à 200 m du parking voitures et cars, il est accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite accompagnées.

Aujourd’hui sur les vingt-trois postes réhabilités, les trois postes de Haute Maurienne sont les seuls en France à pouvoir communiquer entre eux et transmettent ainsi, comme il y a 220 ans des messages codés.
