Angesichts der Alterung der nationalen Energieinfrastruktur und der sich beschleunigenden klimatischen Unsicherheiten stellt die Erhaltung und Modernisierung des Stromübertragungsnetzes heute eine wichtige strategische Herausforderung für die Energiesicherheit des Landes dar.
Im Kontext des Klimawandels und der Elektrifizierung der Nutzungen ist dieses industrielle Erbe mit wachsenden Risiken konfrontiert: steigende Lufttemperaturen, anhaltende Dürren, extreme Winde, Waldbrände und intensivere Gewitter. Hinzu kommen die mechanischen Auswirkungen der natürlichen Alterung der Bauwerke (Masten, Kabel, Isolatoren, Fernleitungen), von denen einige ihre nominale Lebensdauer bald erreichen oder überschreiten werden. Das Stromübertragungsnetz ist daher ein gefährdetes und gefährdetes Vermögen, das angepasst, erneuert und weitergegeben werden muss, anstatt es zu erleiden.
Um all diesen Herausforderungen gerecht zu werden, wurde das Zehnjährige Netzentwicklungsschema (SDDR) eingeführt, eine Roadmap für die TEN-Investitionen bis 2040. Es beruht auf drei technischen Schwerpunkten:
• Die bestehende Infrastruktur (23.500 km Leitungen, 85.000 Halterungen, Steuerungssysteme) erneuern, um ihre mechanische Belastbarkeit, ihre Wärmekapazität und ihre Widerstandsfähigkeit gegenüber einem geschätzten Klimaanstieg von +4 °C im Jahr 2100 zu gewährleisten.
• Den neuen industriellen Bedarf und die kohlenstoffarmen Produktionsmittel, die für die Dekarbonisierung und Reindustrialisierung des Territoriums unerlässlich sind, miteinander verbinden.
• Die Wirbelsäule des Netzes zu stärken, indem die Modernisierung oder Verdopplung der bestehenden Trassen bevorzugt wird, um den Bodenzugriff und die Künstlichkeit der Umgebungen zu begrenzen.
Für unsere Groupe Maintenance Réseau (GMR) Champagne-Ardenne nimmt diese Vision eine sehr konkrete Dimension an. Unser "elektrisches" Erbe lebt jeden Tag mit einem anderen, ebenso wertvollen Erbe zusammen: der Natur. Wir haben Bienenstöcke, ein Insektenhotel und Melissensträucher errichtet, um den Bestäubern Nahrung und Zufluchtsorte zu bieten. Ein ausgestatteter Raum ermöglicht uns eine optimale Abfallbewirtschaftung, insbesondere mit einem Kompostierbereich zur Verwertung unserer Bioabfälle. Das alle zwei Jahre stattfindende Naturfest mobilisiert auch die Mitarbeiter für einen Moment, der dem Schutz der natürlichen Lebensräume gewidmet ist.
Als ein Unternehmen, das mit einer öffentlichen Aufgabe betraut ist, besteht unsere Rolle auch darin, die breite Öffentlichkeit für die Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit diesem Erbe zu sensibilisieren. Hinter jeder Linie, jedem Arbeitsplatz und jedem Wartungsvorgang verbergen sich technisches Know-how, Schattenberufe, Einrichtungsentscheidungen, die die Versorgungssicherheit, den ökologischen Wandel und den Schutz der natürlichen Lebensräume berücksichtigen.
Die Einladung der Öffentlichkeit zu den Europäischen Tagen des Kulturerbes 2026, deren Thema "Kulturerbe in Gefahr" ist, bietet die Gelegenheit, hinter die Kulissen dieses wichtigen und oft verkannten industriellen Erbes durch zahlreiche spielerische Aktivitäten kennenzulernen. Indem wir die Türen unserer Einrichtungen öffnen, werden wir dazu beitragen, "gefährdetes Erbe" nicht zum Schicksal zu machen, sondern zu einer kollektiven Verpflichtung zum Schutz und zur Weitergabe an zukünftige Generationen.

Faced with the aging of national energy infrastructure and the acceleration of climate hazards, the preservation and modernization of the electricity transmission network are now a major strategic challenge for the country’s energy security.
In a context of climate change and electrification of uses, this industrial heritage is facing increasing risks: rising air temperature, prolonged droughts, extreme winds, wildfires, more intense stormy phenomena. To this are added the mechanical effects of natural aging of structures (pylons, cables, insulators, remote control), some of which will soon reach or exceed their nominal lifespan. The electricity transmission network is therefore an exposed and vulnerable heritage, which must be adapted, renewed, and transmitted, rather than suffered.
It is in response to all these challenges that the Ten-Year Network Development Plan (SDDR), a roadmap for RTE’s investments up to 2040, has been developed. It is based on three major technical areas:
• Renew existing infrastructure (23,500 km of lines, 85,000 supports, command and control systems) to ensure their mechanical strength, thermal capacity, and resilience against an estimated climate increase of +4°C in 2100.
• Connect the new industrial needs and low-carbon means of production, essential for decarbonization and reindustrialization of the territory.
• Strengthen the backbone of the network, by prioritizing the modernization or doubling of existing routes in order to limit land use and the artificialization of environments.
For our Groupe Maintenance Réseau (GMR) Champagne-Ardenne, this vision takes on a very concrete dimension. Our "electric" heritage coexists every day with another equally precious heritage: nature. We installed beehives, an insect hotel, and planted honey bushes to provide food and shelter for pollinators. A landscaped area allows us to optimally manage our waste, including a composting area to recycle our bio-waste. The Fête de la Nature, organized every two years, also mobilizes employees around a moment dedicated to the protection of natural environments.
As a company with a public service mission, our role is also to raise awareness among the general public about issues related to this heritage. Behind each line, each station and each maintenance intervention are hidden technical know-how, shadow trades, planning choices that take into account food safety, the ecological transition, and the protection of natural environments.
Welcoming the public to our site on the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days, whose theme is "Heritage in danger", will be an opportunity to discover behind the scenes of this essential industrial heritage, often overlooked, through numerous fun activities. By opening the doors of our facilities, we will contribute to making "heritage in danger" not a fate, but a collective commitment to protect and transmit to future generations.

Di fronte all'invecchiamento delle infrastrutture energetiche nazionali e all'accelerazione dei rischi climatici, la conservazione e l'ammodernamento della rete di trasmissione dell'elettricità costituiscono oggi una sfida strategica importante per la sicurezza energetica del paese.
In un contesto di cambiamento climatico e di elettrificazione degli usi, questo patrimonio industriale deve far fronte a rischi crescenti: aumento della temperatura dell'aria, siccità prolungate, venti estremi, incendi vegetativi, fenomeni tempestosi più intensi. A ciò si aggiungono gli effetti meccanici dell'invecchiamento naturale delle opere (piloni, cavi, isolatori, teleguida), alcuni dei quali raggiungono o supereranno presto la loro durata nominale. La rete di trasmissione dell'energia elettrica è quindi un patrimonio esposto e vulnerabile, che deve essere adattato, rinnovato e trasmesso, piuttosto che subirlo.
Il piano decennale di sviluppo della rete (SDDR), che rappresenta la roadmap degli investimenti delle TEN in vista del 2040, è stato concepito per rispondere a tutte queste sfide. Si basa su tre assi tecnici principali:
• Rinnovare le infrastrutture esistenti (23.500 km di linee, 85.000 supporti, sistemi di controllo e comando) per garantire la loro tenuta meccanica, la capacità termica e la resilienza di fronte ad un aumento del clima stimato a +4 °C nel 2100.
• Collegare le nuove esigenze industriali e i mezzi di produzione a basso tenore di carbonio, essenziali per la decarbonizzazione e la reindustrializzazione del territorio.
• Rafforzare la colonna vertebrale della rete, privilegiando l'ammodernamento o il raddoppio dei tracciati esistenti per limitare l'occupazione del suolo e l'artificializzazione degli ambienti.
Per il nostro Gruppo di Manutenzione della Rete (GMR) Champagne-Ardenne, questa visione assume una dimensione molto concreta. Il nostro patrimonio "elettrico" convive ogni giorno con un altro patrimonio, altrettanto prezioso: la natura. Abbiamo installato degli alveari, un hotel per insetti e piantato dei cespugli melliferi per fornire cibo e rifugi agli impollinatori. Uno spazio attrezzato ci consente una gestione ottimale dei nostri rifiuti, in particolare con un'area di compostaggio per recuperare i nostri rifiuti organici. La festa della natura, organizzata ogni due anni, mobilita anche i collaboratori attorno a un momento dedicato alla protezione degli ambienti naturali.
In quanto azienda con una missione di servizio pubblico, il nostro ruolo è anche quello di sensibilizzare l'opinione pubblica sulle sfide legate a questo patrimonio. Dietro ogni linea, ogni postazione e ogni intervento di manutenzione si nascondono competenze tecniche, mestieri ombra, scelte di assetto che tengono conto della sicurezza alimentare, della transizione ecologica e della protezione degli ambienti naturali.
Accogliere il pubblico sul nostro sito in occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio 2026, il cui tema è "Patrimonio in pericolo", sarà l'occasione per far scoprire dietro le quinte di questo patrimonio industriale essenziale, spesso sconosciuto, attraverso numerose attività ludiche. Aprendo le porte delle nostre strutture, contribuiremo a rendere il "patrimonio in pericolo" non una fatalità, ma un impegno collettivo di protezione e trasmissione alle generazioni future.

Face au vieillissement des infrastructures énergétiques nationales et à l’accélération des aléas climatiques, la préservation et la modernisation du réseau de transport d’électricité constituent aujourd’hui un enjeu stratégique majeur pour la sécurité énergétique du pays.
Dans un contexte de changement climatique et d’électrification des usages, ce patrimoine industriel est confronté à des risques croissants : élévation de la température de l’air, sécheresses prolongées, vents extrêmes, feux de végétation, phénomènes orageux plus intenses. À cela s’ajoutent les effets mécaniques du vieillissement naturel des ouvrages (pylônes, câbles, isolateurs, télé conduite), dont certains atteignent ou dépasseront bientôt leur durée de vie nominale. Le réseau de transport d’électricité est donc un patrimoine exposé et vulnérable, qu’il convient d’adapter, de renouveler et de transmettre, plutôt que de le subir.
C’est pour répondre à l’ensemble de ces défis que s’inscrit le Schéma Décennal de Développement du Réseau (SDDR), feuille de route des investissements de RTE à l’horizon 2040. Il repose sur trois axes techniques majeurs :
• Renouveler les infrastructures existantes (23 500 km de lignes, 85 000 supports, systèmes de contrôle commande) afin de garantir leur tenue mécanique, leur capacité thermique et leur résilience face à une augmentation du climat estimée à +4 °C en 2100.
• Raccorder les nouveaux besoins industriels et les moyens de production bas carbone, essentiels à la décarbonation et à la réindustrialisation du territoire.
• Renforcer la colonne vertébrale du réseau, en privilégiant la modernisation ou le doublement des tracés existants afin de limiter l’emprise au sol et l’artificialisation des milieux.
Pour notre Groupe Maintenance Réseau (GMR) Champagne-Ardenne, cette vision prend une dimension très concrète. Notre patrimoine « électrique » cohabite chaque jour avec un autre patrimoine, tout aussi précieux : la nature. Nous avons installé des ruches, un hôtel à insectes et planté des arbustes mellifères pour offrir nourriture et refuges aux pollinisateurs. Un espace aménagé nous permet une gestion optimale de nos déchets, avec notamment un espace de compostage pour valoriser nos biodéchets. La Fête de la Nature, organisée tous les deux ans, mobilise également les collaborateurs autour d’un moment dédié à la protection des milieux naturels.
En tant qu’entreprise chargée d’une mission de service public, notre rôle est aussi de sensibiliser le grand public aux enjeux liés à ce patrimoine. Derrière chaque ligne, chaque poste et chaque intervention de maintenance se cachent des savoir-faire techniques, des métiers de l’ombre, des choix d’aménagement qui tiennent compte de la sécurité d’alimentation, de la transition écologique et la protection des milieux naturels.
Accueillir du public sur notre site à l’occasion des Journées européennes du patrimoine 2026, dont le thème est « Patrimoine en danger », sera l’occasion de faire découvrir les coulisses de ce patrimoine industriel essentiel, souvent méconnu, au travers de nombreuses activités ludiques. En ouvrant les portes de nos installations, nous contribuerons à faire du « patrimoine en danger » non pas une fatalité, mais un engagement collectif de protection et de transmission aux générations futures.

Frente al envejecimiento de las infraestructuras energéticas nacionales y a la aceleración de los riesgos climáticos, la preservación y la modernización de la red de transporte de electricidad constituyen hoy un desafío estratégico importante para la seguridad energética del país.
En un contexto de cambio climático y de electrificación de los usos, este patrimonio industrial se enfrenta a riesgos crecientes: aumento de la temperatura del aire, sequías prolongadas, vientos extremos, incendios de vegetación, fenómenos tormentosos más intensos. A esto se añaden los efectos mecánicos del envejecimiento natural de las obras (pilones, cables, aisladores, teleconducción), algunos de los cuales alcanzarán o superarán pronto su vida útil nominal. La red de transporte de electricidad es, por lo tanto, un patrimonio expuesto y vulnerable que conviene adaptar, renovar y transmitir, en lugar de sufrir.
El Plan Decenal de Desarrollo de la Red (SDDR), hoja de ruta de las inversiones de la RTE en 2040, responde a todos estos desafíos. Se basa en tres ejes técnicos principales:
• Renovar las infraestructuras existentes (23.500 km de líneas, 85.000 soportes, sistemas de control y mando) para garantizar su resistencia mecánica, su capacidad térmica y su resiliencia frente a un aumento del clima estimado en +4 °C en 2100.
• Conectar las nuevas necesidades industriales y los medios de producción bajos en carbono, esenciales para la descarbonización y la reindustrialización del territorio.
• Fortalecer la columna vertebral de la red, privilegiando la modernización o duplicación de las trazas existentes para limitar el control del suelo y la artificialización de los ambientes.
Para nuestro Grupo de Mantenimiento de la Red (GMR) Champagne-Ardenne, esta visión adquiere una dimensión muy concreta. Nuestro patrimonio "eléctrico" convive cada día con otro patrimonio, igualmente valioso: la naturaleza. Instalamos colmenas, un hotel para insectos y plantamos arbustos melíferos para ofrecer alimento y refugio a los polinizadores. Un espacio acondicionado nos permite una gestión óptima de nuestros residuos, con una zona de compostaje para valorizar nuestros biorresiduos. La Fiesta de la Naturaleza, organizada cada dos años, moviliza también a los colaboradores en torno a un momento dedicado a la protección del medio natural.
Como empresa encargada de una misión de servicio público, nuestro papel es también el de sensibilizar al gran público sobre los desafíos vinculados a este patrimonio. Detrás de cada línea, cada puesto y cada intervención de mantenimiento se esconden conocimientos técnicos, oficios de sombra, opciones de acondicionamiento que tienen en cuenta la seguridad alimentaria, la transición ecológica y la protección de los medios naturales.
Acoger al público en nuestro sitio con ocasión de las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio 2026, cuyo tema es «Patrimonio en peligro», será la oportunidad de descubrir los bastidores de este patrimonio industrial esencial, a menudo ignorado, a través de numerosas actividades lúdicas. Al abrir las puertas de nuestras instalaciones, contribuiremos a hacer del "patrimonio en peligro" no una fatalidad, sino un compromiso colectivo de protección y transmisión a las generaciones futuras.
