Double opening at the MEG: imagining the future together
To mark the temporary exhibition *What is the future?*, the MEG is hosting a double opening for works co-created with children from Geneva. Foyer. Tuesday 23 June, 6pm to 8pm.

To mark the exhibition What is the Future?, the MEG invites you to a special evening of creative works developed in collaboration with young people from Geneva.
In the Foyer, Sara McLaren and David Couturier present Empreintes, a collective work blending visual art and sound design. Created with 720 pupils, it combines their hopes for the future with a musical composition drawing on the MEG’s archives and contemporary sounds.
In the exhibition, students from the Sécheron school unveil an object of the future imagined with Nova7 through design fiction — an invitation to rethink tomorrow through play and the imagination.
The evening features two dance performances by Loubna Chatta, inspired by the sound piece Empreintes.

À l’occasion de l’exposition Le futur, c’est quoi ?, le MEG invite à une soirée exceptionnelle de créations co-construites avec des jeunes genevois·e·s.
Dans le Foyer, Sara McLaren et David Couturier présentent Empreintes, une œuvre collective mêlant art visuel et création sonore. Réalisée avec 720 élèves, elle associe leurs vœux pour l’avenir à une composition musicale nourrie des archives du MEG et de sonorités contemporaines.
Dans l’exposition, des élèves du cycle de Sécheron dévoilent un objet du futur imaginé avec Nova7 grâce au design fiction — une invitation à repenser demain à travers le jeu et l’imaginaire.
La soirée est rythmée par deux performances dansées de Loubna Chatta, inspirées de l’œuvre sonore Empreintes.
