Das VI. Arrondissement von Lyon zeigt ein Bild eines schicken Wohnviertels. Man kann sich nur schwer vorstellen, wie es mit Fabrikschornsteinen bewachsen ist... Doch haben weltweit bekannte Unternehmen ihre ersten Schritte in diese Richtung unternommen. Und entgegen der verbreiteten Meinung waren sie bei weitem nicht alle in Bellecombe angesiedelt.
Auf dieser Reise werden wir viele Gebäude entdecken, die einst Firmensitze und manchmal auch Produktionsstätten waren. Einige dieser Gebäude haben heute ein neues Schicksal.
Der Rammler hat leider viel getan, indem er die Werke berühmter Architekten vernichtet hat. Wir werden jedoch die angenehme Überraschung haben, festzustellen, dass sich hinter den jüngsten Bauten manchmal Überreste von Fabriken verbergen, deren Geschichte wir noch einmal erzählen werden.

The VI° district of Lyon displays an image of a chic residential area. It’s hard to imagine it bristling with factory chimneys!... Yet world-famous companies took their first steps there. And contrary to a generally accepted idea, they were far from all established in Bellecombe.
Along this route, we will discover many buildings that were once headquarters of companies and sometimes also places of production. Some of these buildings today have a new destiny.
The demolitionist’s pickaxe unfortunately acted a lot, annihilating the works of renowned architects. But we will nevertheless have the pleasant surprise to note that behind recent constructions are sometimes hidden vestiges of factories whose history we will evoke.

Il VI° arrondissement di Lione mostra un'immagine di quartiere residenziale chic. Si può immaginare che sia pieno di camini di fabbriche... Eppure, le prime imprese di fama mondiale hanno fatto i loro primi passi. Contrariamente a quanto si crede, erano lontane dall'essere tutte insediate a Bellecombe.
Lungo questo percorso scopriremo numerosi edifici che un tempo erano sedi di aziende e talvolta anche luoghi di produzione. Alcuni di questi edifici hanno oggi un nuovo destino.
Il piccone del demolitore ha purtroppo operato molto annientando opere di architetti famosi. Ma avremo comunque la piacevole sorpresa di constatare che dietro costruzioni recenti si nascondono a volte resti di fabbriche di cui rievocheremo la storia.

Le VI° arrondissement de Lyon affiche une image de quartier résidentiel chic. On peine à l'imaginer hérissé de cheminées d'usines !... Pourtant des entreprises mondialement connues y firent leurs premiers pas. Et contrairement à une idée reçue, eles étaient loin d'être toutes implantées à Bellecombe.
Au fil de ce parcours, nous découvrirons de nombreux bâtiments qui furent autrefois sièges d'entreprises et parfois aussi lieux de production. Certains de ces bâtiments ont aujourd'hui une nouvelle destinée.
La pioche du démolisseur a hélas beaucoup agi anéantissant des oeuvres d'architectes réputés. Mais nous aurons toutefois l'agréable suprise de constater que derrière des constructions récentes se dissimulent parfois des vestiges d'usines dont nous évoquerons l'histoire.

El VI° arrondissement de Lyon muestra una imagen de barrio residencial chic. ¡Apenas se puede imaginar con chimeneas de fábricas... Sin embargo, empresas de renombre mundial dieron sus primeros pasos en este sentido. Y contrariamente a una idea preconcebida, estaban lejos de estar todas implantadas en Bellecombe.
En el recorrido descubriremos numerosos edificios que fueron en su día sedes de empresas y a veces también lugares de producción. Algunos de estos edificios tienen hoy un nuevo destino.
La pica del demoledor ha hecho mucho, por desgracia, destruyendo obras de arquitectos famosos. Pero tendremos la grata sorpresa de constatar que detrás de construcciones recientes se ocultan a veces vestigios de fábricas cuya historia evocaremos.
