Diese Konferenz bietet die Gelegenheit, einen farbenfrohen Bühnenkünstler wiederzuentdecken: Pierre-François Palloy (1755-1835), genannt "Le Patriote". Dieser mutige öffentliche Bauunternehmer war seinerzeit dafür berühmt, dass er am Abend des 14. Juli 1789 die Initiative ergriffen hatte, die Bastille abzureißen und Erinnerungsstücke im ganzen Land zu verteilen. so eine fast leere Festung zu einem Mythos errichtete und seine Übernahme zum Gründungsereignis des nationalen Romans.

This conference is an opportunity to rediscover a colorful Scenium, Pierre-François Palloy (1755-1835), known as "Le Patriote". This audacious public works contractor was famous in his time for having taken the initiative, on the evening of 14 July 1789, to demolish the Bastille and distribute souvenirs throughout the country, thus erecting an almost empty fortress into myth and its taking as a founding event of the national novel.

Questa conferenza è l'occasione per riscoprire uno scenografo di grande colore, Pierre-François Palloy (1755-1835), detto "Il Patriota". Questo audace imprenditore di lavori pubblici fu famoso a suo tempo per aver preso l'iniziativa, già la sera del 14 luglio 1789, di demolire la Bastiglia e distribuirne i souvenir in tutto il paese, erigendo così una fortezza quasi vuota in mito e la sua presa come evento fondatore del romanzo nazionale.

Cet audacieux entrepreneur de travaux publics fut célèbre en son temps pour avoir pris l’initiative, dès le soir du 14 juillet 1789, de démolir la Bastille et d’en distribuer des souvenirs à travers tout le pays, érigeant ainsi une forteresse quasi vide en mythe et sa prise en événement fondateur du roman national.

Este audaz emprendedor de obras públicas fue célebre en su momento por haber tomado la iniciativa, desde la noche del 14 de julio de 1789, de demoler la Bastilla y distribuir recuerdos por todo el país, erigiendo así una fortaleza casi vacía en mito y su toma como acontecimiento fundador de la novela nacional.
