Der FRAC stellt eine Auswahl von Werken von Künstlerinnen (Diane Arbus, Cindy Sherman, Juliana Dorso...) aus, die es ermöglichen, auf die Geschichte der Bildung seiner Sammlung seit den 1980er Jahren und insbesondere auf die Entwicklung des Stellenwerts, der Künstlerinnen eingeräumt wird, zurückzukommen. War die zeitgenössische Kunst immer vorbildlich, wenn es um die Sichtbarkeit von weiblichen Künstlern ging? Wie weit sind wir gekommen und wo stehen wir heute?

The FRAC has taken out of its reserves a selection of works by women artists (Diane Arbus, Cindy Sherman, Juliana Dorso...) which will allow us to look back on the history of the constitution of its collection since the 1980s and more particularly on the evolution of the place given to women artists. Has contemporary art always been exemplary in terms of the visibility of women artists? What path has been traveled and where are we today?
