An international event

Created in 2016, FAB is a multi-disciplinary festival that promotes contemporary writing in all its forms of expression - performance, dance, theatre, music, visual arts - with an emphasis on hybrid and unclassifiable approaches.

The editorial line

The festival is made up of shows, concerts, participatory projects, meetings and parties. Playing with genres and disciplines, combining 'pop' and 'scholarly' culture, its editorial line is by turns playful, festive, irreverent, offbeat, innovative and iconoclastic.

An experience to live

FAB's aim is to get off the beaten track and be where you least expect it, so as to give the region a real buzz and touch, surprise and move all its residents. It offers spectators a unique experience, enabling them to forge a calmer link with creation and inviting them to get involved in society in a different way. With this in mind, we welcome or commission artists to create participatory forms, organise debates and conferences linked to the subjects addressed by the plays hosted, and open our arms to anyone who wants to experience the festival from the inside.
