Anlässlich des 212 Photography Istanbul-Festivals bietet das Französische Institut der Türkei in Partnerschaft mit France PhotoBook eine Startzeit für Fotobücher und professionelle Begegnungen zwischen französischen und türkischen Akteuren der Fotoeditionen an.
Dieses Programm, das Verleger, Fotografen, Buchhändler, Komistoren und Bildschaffende zusammenbringt, soll die engen Beziehungen und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Frankreich und der Türkei rund um das Fotobuch stärken, das heute ein wesentlicher Raum für zeitgenössische Kreation geworden ist. Unterstützt vom Ministerium für Kultur, vereint France PhotoBook rund dreißig unabhängige Verlage auf dem gesamten französischen Territorium und verteidigt das Fotobuch als eigenständiges Verlagswesen am Schnittpunkt von Kunst, visueller Forschung und Vermittlung.
Das Fotobuch ist heute ein wichtiges Instrument für die Verbreitung der Werke, die internationale Zirkulation der Künstler und die Entwicklung zeitgenössischer fotografischer Szenen. Durch Ausstellungen, redaktionelle Präsentationen und professionelle Treffen hebt dieses Projekt die Vitalität der redaktionellen Praktiken hervor und eröffnet einen Raum des Austauschs zwischen Schöpfern, Verlegern und dem Publikum.
Professionelle Treffen der Fotografie und des Buches werden in Istanbul stattfinden, insbesondere in der Buchhandlung Minoa Bookstore sowie in den Niederlassungen des französischen Instituts, um die Rolle des Buches als Ort des Dialogs zu bekräftigen. Experimentieren und Zirkulation der Blicke zwischen den beiden Ländern.

On the occasion of the 212 Photography Istanbul festival, the French Institute of Turkey, in partnership with France PhotoBook, is offering a special event dedicated to photobooks and professional meetings between French and Turkish actors in photographic publishing.
Bringing together publishers, photographers, booksellers, curators and image professionals, this program aims to strengthen the bonds of complicity and cooperation between France and Turkey around the photography book, which has become an essential space for contemporary creation. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, France PhotoBook federates about thirty independent publishing houses on the whole French territory and defends the book of photography as an editorial field in its own right, at the crossroads of art, visual research and transmission.
The photobook is now a major tool for the dissemination of works, the international circulation of artists and the development of contemporary photographic scenes. Through exhibitions, editorial presentations and professional meetings, this project highlights the vitality of publishing practices and opens up a space for exchange between creators, publishers and the public.
Professional meetings of photography and books will be held in Istanbul, notably at the Minoa Bookstore as well as in the branches of the French Institute, affirming the place of the book as a place of dialogue, of experimentation and circulation of glances between the two countries.

In occasione del festival 212 Photography Istanbul, l'Institut français de Turquie, in collaborazione con France PhotoBook, propone un momento speciale dedicato al photobook e agli incontri professionali tra attori francesi e turchi dell'edizione fotografica.
Riunendo editori, fotografi, librai, commissari e professionisti dell'immagine, questa programmazione intende rafforzare i legami di complicità e cooperazione tra la Francia e la Turchia intorno al libro fotografico, diventato oggi uno spazio essenziale di creazione contemporanea. Sostenuto dal ministero della cultura, France PhotoBook riunisce una trentina di case editrici indipendenti in tutto il territorio francese e difende il libro fotografico come un campo editoriale a pieno titolo, al crocevia dell'arte, della ricerca visiva e della trasmissione.
Il photobook costituisce ormai uno strumento importante per la diffusione delle opere, la circolazione internazionale degli artisti e lo sviluppo delle scene fotografiche contemporanee. Attraverso esposizioni, presentazioni editoriali e incontri professionali, questo progetto mette in luce la vitalità delle pratiche editoriali e apre uno spazio di scambio tra creatori, editori e pubblico.
Incontri professionali della fotografia e del libro si terranno a Istanbul, in particolare presso la libreria Minoa Bookstore e nelle sedi dell'Istituto francese, affermando il ruolo del libro come luogo di dialogo, di sperimentazione e di circolazione degli sguardi tra i due paesi.

À l’occasion du festival 212 Photography Istanbul, l’Institut français de Turquie, en partenariat avec France PhotoBook, propose un temps fort consacré au photobook et aux rencontres professionnelles entre acteurs français et turcs de l’édition photographique.
Réunissant éditeurs, photographes, libraires, commissaires et professionnels de l’image, cette programmation entend renforcer les liens de complicité et de coopération entre la France et la Turquie autour du livre de photographie, devenu aujourd’hui un espace essentiel de création contemporaine. Soutenu par le ministère de la Culture, France PhotoBook fédère une trentaine de maisons d’édition indépendantes sur l’ensemble du territoire français et défend le livre de photographie comme un champ éditorial à part entière, à la croisée de l’art, de la recherche visuelle et de la transmission.

Con motivo del festival 212 Photography Estambul, el Instituto francés de Turquía, en colaboración con France PhotoBook, propone un tiempo fuerte dedicado al photobook y a los encuentros profesionales entre actores franceses y turcos de la edición fotográfica.
Reuniendo editores, fotógrafos, libreros, comisarios y profesionales de la imagen, esta programación pretende reforzar los lazos de complicidad y cooperación entre Francia y Turquía en torno al libro de fotografía, que hoy se ha convertido en un espacio esencial de creación contemporánea. Con el apoyo del Ministerio de Cultura, France PhotoBook agrupa a una treintena de editoriales independientes en todo el territorio francés y defiende el libro de fotografía como un campo editorial propio, en la encrucijada entre el arte, la investigación visual y la transmisión.
El photobook constituye ahora un instrumento importante para la difusión de las obras, la circulación internacional de los artistas y el desarrollo de las escenas fotográficas contemporáneas. A través de exposiciones, presentaciones editoriales y encuentros profesionales, este proyecto resalta la vitalidad de las prácticas editoriales y abre un espacio de intercambio entre creadores, editores y público.
Se celebrarán encuentros profesionales de la fotografía y del libro en Estambul, especialmente en la librería Minoa Bookstore así como en las antenas del Instituto francés, afirmando el lugar del libro como lugar de diálogo, de experimentación y circulación de los ojos entre los dos países.
