Bild für Bild ist ein Projekt von Latent. e , der die Fotografie als reproduzierbares, wandelbares und in die Zeit eingeschriebenes Medium jenseits des Standbildes erforscht. An der Schnittstelle von Fotografie, Collage und experimentellem Kino stellt das Projekt die zeitgenössischen Nutzungen des fotografischen Archivs in Frage: wie ein bestehendes Bild neu interpretiert, rekombiniert und in Bewegung gesetzt werden kann, um neue visuelle Erzählungen zu produzieren.
Dieser Workshop-Zyklus besteht aus zwei sich ergänzenden Modulen. Der erste widmet sich der fotografischen Rekonstruktion aus vorhandenen Bildern und Archiven: Auswahl, Fragmentierung und Montage als Möglichkeiten zu erforschen, wie die Sinnbildung und die Zirkulation von Bildern untersucht werden können. Der zweite übersetzt diese neu zusammengestellten Bilder durch das historische Verfahren des Cyanotyps und setzt sie dann durch die Animation Bild für Bild in eine Sequenz, indem er die Fotografie ohne Kamera, den Vorfilm und zeitgenössische Praktiken des bewegten Bildes miteinander verzahnt.
Die Workshops stehen Studenten, Künstlern und neugierigen Teilnehmern offen und legen den Schwerpunkt auf eine Pädagogik des Blicks und der Herstellung: konkrete Manipulation von Bildern, kritische Reflexion und Einordnung in den historischen Kontext. Das gesamte Material wird bereitgestellt.
Entwickelt von Latent. e, ein Verein, der 2025 in Paris gegründet wurde und die Fotografie als materielles, zeitliches und sich ständig weiterentwickelndes Medium durch Collage, alternative Verfahren und das bewegte Bild erforscht.

Image by image is a project by Latent.e exploring photography as a reproducible, transformable and time-based medium, beyond the fixed image. At the meeting point of photography, collage and experimental cinema, it looks at contemporary uses of the photographic archive: how an existing image can be reinterpreted, recomposed and set in motion to produce new visual narratives.
This workshop cycle is built around two complementary modules. The first is devoted to photographic recomposition from existing and archival images: exploring selection, fragmentation and montage as ways of questioning how meaning is constructed and how images circulate. The second translates these recomposed images through the historical cyanotype process, set in sequence through frame-by-frame animation, bringing cameraless photography, pre-cinema and contemporary moving-image practices into dialogue.
The workshops are open to students, artists and curious participants, and emphasize a pedagogy of looking and making: hands-on image manipulation, critical reflection and historical context. All materials are provided.

Immagine per immagine è un progetto di Latente. e che esplora la fotografia come un mezzo riproducibile, trasformabile e iscritto nel tempo, oltre l'immagine fissa. Al crocevia della fotografia, del collage e del cinema sperimentale, il progetto interroga gli usi contemporanei dell'archivio fotografico: come un'immagine esistente può essere reinterpretata, ricomposta e messa in movimento per produrre nuovi racconti visivi.
Questo ciclo di workshop si articola in due moduli complementari. Il primo è dedicato alla ricomposizione fotografica a partire da immagini esistenti e d'archivio: esplorare la selezione, la frammentazione e il montaggio come modi per interrogarsi sulla costruzione del senso e la circolazione delle immagini. Il secondo traduce queste immagini ricomposte attraverso il processo storico del cianotipo, poi le mette in sequenza con l'animazione immagine per immagine, facendo dialogare fotografia senza telecamera, pre-cinema e pratiche contemporanee dell'immagine in movimento.
I laboratori sono aperti a studenti, artisti e partecipanti curiosi, e privilegiano una pedagogia dello sguardo e della produzione: manipolazione concreta delle immagini, riflessione critica e contestualizzazione storica. Tutto il materiale è fornito.

Image par image est un projet de Latent.e qui explore la photographie comme un médium reproductible, transformable et inscrit dans le temps, au-delà de l’image fixe. À la croisée de la photographie, du collage et du cinéma expérimental, le projet interroge les usages contemporains de l’archive photographique : comment une image existante peut être réinterprétée, recomposée et mise en mouvement afin de produire de nouveaux récits visuels.
Ce cycle d’ateliers s’articule autour de deux modules complémentaires. Le premier est consacré à la recomposition photographique à partir d’images existantes et d’archives : explorer la sélection, la fragmentation et le montage comme manières d’interroger la construction du sens et la circulation des images. En la encrucijada de la fotografía, del collage y del cine experimental, el proyecto interroga los usos contemporáneos del archivo fotográfico: cómo una imagen existente puede ser reinterpretada, recompuesta y puesta en movimiento para producir nuevos relatos visuales.
Este ciclo de talleres se articula en torno a dos módulos complementarios. El primero está dedicado a la recomposición fotográfica a partir de imágenes existentes y de archivos: explorar la selección, la fragmentación y el montaje como formas de interrogar la construcción del sentido y la circulación de las imágenes. El segundo traduce estas imágenes recompuestas a través del proceso histórico del cianotipo, luego las pone en secuencia por la animación imagen por imagen, haciendo dialogar fotografía sin cámara, pre-cine y prácticas contemporáneas de la imagen en movimiento.
