Gestern produzierte das Moulin de la Fontaine die notwendigen Zutaten für das Überleben des Loir-Tals, es produzierte Mehl für das Brot. Er war an der Kreuzung der Begegnungen. Es war ein absolutes Muss. Heute beherbergt die in ein Kulturlabor umgewandelte Mühle Künstler und Fotografen, Bildmacher, Geschichtenerzähler und Silberkornhandler.
Die GRAIN-Ausstellung widmet sich Christian Louis, einem zeitgenössischen Fotografen, der eng mit Robert Doisneau und Willy Ronis verbunden ist. Nach seinem Umzug in Bué, im Cher, hinterließ er bei seinem Tod im Jahr 2001 einen Bildbestand von bemerkenswerter Qualität. Zone i und La Maison Ligérienne de l'Image/Valimage wollten die Gelegenheit nutzen, diesen einzigartigen Bestand aufzuwerten.
Das Zweihundertjubiläum der Fotografie bietet eine außergewöhnliche Gelegenheit, die Geschichte der Fotografie auf territorialer Ebene neu zu entdecken, über die bereits weit verbreiteten Figuren und Erzählungen hinaus. Obwohl von seinen Kollegen anerkannt, bleibt Christian Louis weitgehend abwesend in der Erzählung der Fotografie trotz eines umfangreichen Werks und einer erheblichen Verbreitung während seiner Lebenszeit. Die Aufbewahrung seines Bestandes im Musée Nicéphore Niépce bietet heute günstige Bedingungen für eine erneute Sichtung seines Werkes.
Die Ausstellung GRAINES DE REGARDS wird fünf Künstler aus der Nähe von Zone i zusammenbringen: Séba Lallemand, Beno Lelong, Thomas Ozoux, Anne Piégu und Éric Zeziola, die ihre sensiblen und einzigartigen Welten teilen werden.

Yesterday, the Moulin de la Fontaine produced the ingredients necessary for the survival of the Loir Valley; it produced flour for bread. He was at the crossroads of meetings. It was a must-see place. Today, the mill transformed into a cultural laboratory welcomes artists and photographers, image makers, storytellers, film grain manipulators.
The exhibition GRAIN will be devoted to Christian Louis, a contemporary photographer close to Robert Doisneau and Willy Ronis. Installed in Bué, in the Cher, he left at his death in 2001 a fund of images of remarkable quality. Zone i and La Maison Ligérienne de l'Image/Valimage wanted to seize the opportunity to highlight this unique fund.
The Bicentenary of Photography is an exceptional opportunity to revisit the history of photography at the scale of territories, beyond the figures and narratives already widely circulated. Although recognized by his peers, Christian Louis remains largely absent from the narrative of photography despite an abundant body of work and a consequent diffusion during his lifetime. The preservation of his collection at the Nicéphore Niépce Museum today offers favorable conditions for a rereading of his work.
The exhibition GRAINES DE REGARDS will bring together five artists living near Zone i: Séba Lallemand, Beno Lelong, Thomas Ozoux, Anne Piégu and Éric Zeziola, who will share their sensitive and singular universes.

Ieri, il Moulin de la Fontaine produceva gli ingredienti necessari alla sopravvivenza della valle del Loir, produceva farina per il pane. Era al crocevia degli incontri. Era un luogo imperdibile. Oggi, il mulino trasformato in laboratorio culturale ospita artisti e fotografi, produttori di immagini, narratori di storie, manipolatori di grana argentea.
La mostra GRAIN sarà dedicata a Christian Louis, fotografo contemporaneo vicino a Robert Doisneau e Willy Ronis. Installato a Bué, nel Cher, ha lasciato alla sua morte nel 2001 un fondo di immagini di una qualità notevole. Zona i e La Maison Ligérienne de l'Image/Valimage hanno voluto cogliere l'opportunità di valorizzare questo fondo inedito.
Il Bicentenario della Fotografia rappresenta un'eccezionale opportunità per rivisitare la storia della fotografia su scala territoriale, al di là delle figure e dei racconti già ampiamente diffusi. Anche se riconosciuto dai suoi pari, Christian Louis rimane in gran parte assente dal racconto della fotografia nonostante un'opera abbondante e una diffusione consistente durante la sua vita. La conservazione del suo fondo presso il Museo Nicéphore Niépce offre oggi condizioni favorevoli per una rilettura della sua opera.
La mostra GRAINES DE REGARDS riunirà cinque artisti che vivono nelle vicinanze della Zone i: Séba Lallemand, Beno Lelong, Thomas Ozoux, Anne Piégu ed Éric Zeziola, che condivideranno il loro universo sensibile e singolare.

C’était un lieu incontournable. Aujourd’hui, le moulin transformé en laboratoire culturel accueille des artistes et des photographes, fabricants d’images, conteurs d’histoires, manipulateurs de grain argentique.
L’exposition GRAIN sera consacrée à Christian Louis, photographe contemporain et proche de Robert Doisneau et de Willy Ronis. Installé à Bué, dans le Cher, il a laissé à son décès en 2001 un fonds d’images d’une qualité remarquable. Zone i et La Maison Ligérienne de l’Image/Valimage ont souhaité saisir l’opportunité de valoriser ce fonds inédit.

Era un lugar imprescindible. Hoy, el molino transformado en laboratorio cultural acoge a artistas y fotógrafos, fabricantes de imágenes, narradores de historias, manipuladores de grano plateado.
La exposición GRAIN estará dedicada a Christian Louis, fotógrafo contemporáneo cercano a Robert Doisneau y Willy Ronis. Instalado en Bué, en el Cher, dejó a su muerte en 2001 un fondo de imágenes de una calidad notable. Zona i y La Maison Ligérienne de l'Image/Valimage han querido aprovechar la oportunidad para valorizar este fondo inédito.
