Cette exposition retrace l’histoire de la photographie comme on parcourt un album de photos de famille. C’est Kodak N°1 Diodak, né en 1934 à Rochester (État de New York, États-Unis) qui est le narrateur de cette saga familiale. L’exposition s’articule autour d’objets conservés à la bibliothèque : appareils et matériels, négatifs sur plaques de verre, tirages anciens, ouvrages sur la photographie… et met en valeur le fonds de Roger Bellone (1927-2025), journaliste-photographe grassois de renommée internationale, auteur de manuels techniques et lauréat de nombreux concours. De la chambre noire au Polaroïd, les personnages de cette histoire racontent le temps, la lumière, la mobilité et le passage du noir & blanc à la couleur !
