Für die Herstellung einer Fotografie ist die Anwesenheit eines Bedieners und einer Kamera erforderlich. Seit 1839 und den Reden von Arago über die offizielle Erfindung der Fotografie ist der fotografierte Fotograf ein Subjekt für sich. Das Selbstporträt des Autors oder seine Darstellung in Aktion beginnt mit Hippolyte Bayard (Autoportrait en noyé, 1839) und setzt sich heute mit dem digitalen fort, um sich über die Netzwerke zu verbreiten. Aufgenommen im Live oder inszeniert, setzt das Porträt des Fotografen ihn als Autor ein und legitimiert seine Position, unabhängig davon, ob der dargestellte Bediener Amateur oder Profi ist.
Durch die Sammlungen des Museums Nicéphore Niépce durchläuft die Ausstellung Strömungen und Praktiken, Techniken und Ästhetik, um eine Geschichte der ursprünglichen Fotografie zu erzählen, in der die Kamera den roten Faden bildet. Sylvain Besson

For a photograph to be produced, the presence of an operator and a camera is a prerequisite. As early as 1839 and the speeches of Arago recording the official invention of photography, the photographed photographer is a subject in itself. The author’s self-portrait or his representation in action begins with Hippolyte Bayard (Autoportrait en noyé, 1839) and is perpetuated today with digital technology, to spread on social media. Captured on the spot or staged, the photographer’s portrait establishes him as an author, legitimizing his position, whether the operator represented is amateur or professional.
Through the collections of the Nicéphore Niépce museum, the exhibition crosses currents and practices, techniques and aesthetics, to tell a story of original photography, where the camera is the red thread. Sylvain Besson

Pour qu’une photographie soit produite, la présence d’un opérateur et d’un appareil photographique est le préalable. Dès 1839 et les discours d’Arago actant l’invention officielle de la photographie, le photographe photographié est un sujet en soi. L’autoportrait de l’auteur ou sa représentation en action commence avec Hippolyte Bayard (Autoportrait en noyé, 1839) et se perpétue aujourd’hui avec le numérique, pour se diffuser sur les réseaux. Capté sur le vif ou mis en scène, le portrait du photographe l’installe comme auteur, légitime sa position, que l’opérateur représenté soit amateur ou professionnel.
A travers les collections du musée Nicéphore Niépce, l’exposition traverse les courants et les pratiques, les techniques et les esthétiques, pour raconter une histoire de la photographie originale, où l’appareil photographique constitue le fil rouge. Sylvain Besson

Desde 1839 y los discursos de Arago que anuncian la invención oficial de la fotografía, el fotógrafo fotografiado es un sujeto en sí mismo. El autorretrato del autor o su representación en acción comienza con Hippolyte Bayard (Autoportrait en noyé, 1839) y se perpetúa hoy con el digital, para difundirse por las redes. Captado en vivo o puesto en escena, el retrato del fotógrafo lo coloca como autor, legitimando su posición, ya sea que el operador representado sea aficionado o profesional.
A través de las colecciones del museo Nicéphore Niépce, la exposición atraviesa las corrientes y las prácticas, las técnicas y las estéticas, para contar una historia de la fotografía original, donde la cámara fotográfica constituye el hilo conductor. Sylvain Besson
