Eine Ausstellung, die die Fotografie als ein hybrides Medium an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Wissenschaft und Technologie erforscht. Vom Autochrome der Brüder Lumière bis zu den algorithmischen Bildern verfolgt sie die Mutationen des fotografischen Bildes in fünf Kapiteln, die historische Werke, Archive und zeitgenössische Schöpfungen vereinen. Diese Ausstellung zeigt eine Fotografie im ständigen Wandel, die in der Lage ist, mit Malerei, Skulptur, Kino, Installation oder grafischem Design zu interagieren. Mit fast sechzig Künstlern und etwa hundert Werken zwischen materiellem Experimentieren und aufkommenden Technologien hinterfragt Photochemische Alchemie unsere Beziehung zu Bildern und neuen Formen des Sichtbaren. Auf fast 2.000 m2 präsentiert, bietet sie einen einzigartigen Dialog zwischen verschiedenen öffentlichen und privaten Sammlungen sowie mehreren eingeladenen Künstlern für den Anlass.

An exhibition that explores photography as a hybrid medium, at the crossroads of arts, science and technology. From the Autochrome of the Lumière brothers to algorithmic images, it traces the mutations of the photographic image through five chapters combining historical works, archives and contemporary creations. This exhibition reveals a photograph in perpetual transformation, able to dialogue with painting, sculpture, cinema, installation or graphic design. With nearly sixty artists and a hundred works between material experimentation and emerging technologies, Alchimies photographiques questions our relationship to images and new forms of the visible. Presented on nearly 2,000 m2, it offers a unique dialogue between different public and private collections as well as several artists invited for the occasion.

Una mostra che esplora la fotografia come un mezzo ibrido, al crocevia tra arte, scienza e tecnologia. Dall'Autochrome dei fratelli Lumière alle immagini algoritmiche, ripercorre le mutazioni dell'immagine fotografica attraverso cinque capitoli che mescolano opere storiche, archivi e creazioni contemporanee. Questa mostra rivela una fotografia in continua trasformazione, capace di dialogare con la pittura, la scultura, il cinema, l'installazione o il design grafico. Con quasi sessanta artisti e un centinaio di opere tra sperimentazione materiale e tecnologie emergenti, Alchimie fotografiche interroga il nostro rapporto con le immagini e le nuove forme del visibile. Presentata su quasi 2.000 m2, offre un dialogo singolare tra diverse collezioni pubbliche e private nonché diversi artisti invitati per l'occasione.

De l’Autochrome des frères Lumière aux images algorithmiques, elle retrace les mutations de l’image photographique à travers cinq chapitres mêlant œuvres historiques, archives et créations contemporaines. Cette exposition révèle une photographie en perpétuelle transformation, capable de dialoguer avec la peinture, la sculpture, le cinéma, l’installation ou le design graphique. Avec près de soixante artistes et une centaine d’œuvres entre expérimentation matérielle et technologies émergentes, Alchimies photographiques interroge notre rapport aux images et aux nouvelles formes du visible.
