Internationale Design-, Fotografie- und Kunstausstellungen sowie Veranstaltungsreihen
Die diesjährige Ausgabe der Ausstellung und interdisziplinären Kunstreihe Design ohne Grenzen, die eine 22-jährige Geschichte aufweist, konzentriert sich auf das Thema Objekt-Foto / Foto-Objekt im Zusammenhang mit dem zweihundertjährigen Jubiläum der Fotografie; Die Ausstellung zeigt Werke von mehr als 150 Künstlern aus fast 18 Ländern, mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt auf den V4-Ländern.
Die Ausstellung präsentiert eine breit gefächerte und innovative Auswahl an Arbeiten, die am Schnittpunkt dieser beiden Bereiche entstanden sind, in denen das Objekt und die Fotografie als gleichberechtigte Protagonisten erscheinen. Neben historischen Bezügen zum Thema werden designorientierte, künstlerische, experimentelle und narrative Ansätze zur Beziehung zwischen Objekt und Foto sowie die Verbindung von Schmuckkunst und Fotografie untersucht. Eine spezielle multidisziplinäre Installation, die Textil, Fotografie und zeitgenössische Musik kombiniert, ist ebenfalls Teil der Ausstellung.
Der Name "Design ohne Grenzen" bezieht sich auf die Internationalität des Projekts, den europäischen Zusammenhalt, den regionalen Dialog, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf der Interoperabilität zwischen verschiedenen künstlerischen Disziplinen und Themen, zwischen verschiedenen Generationen und dem intergenerationalen Dialog.
Design ohne Grenzen, eine unabhängige Ausstellung, die ohne institutionelle Unterstützung organisiert wird, hat sich dank des Engagements ihrer Organisatoren zu einer der bedeutendsten Design- und künstlerischen Veranstaltungsreihen der Region entwickelt. Der 4-wöchige Ausstellungsort ist seit vielen Jahren einer der renommiertesten Ausstellungsorte in Budapest, die Kiscelli Museum Church Hall.
Die Ausstellung wird traditionell von einem internationalen Symposium am Tag nach der Ausstellungseröffnung begleitet, bei dem Aussteller und Partner 10-minütige Präsentationen auf Englisch halten, diesmal zum Thema Fotografie. Wie in den Vorjahren kann das Symposium persönlich und online verfolgt werden.
Während der Ausstellung finden mehrere klassische und zeitgenössische Musikkonzerte statt, die durch kuratorische Führungen ergänzt werden.

22nd Design Without Borders - Object-Photo / Photo-Object
International design, photography, and all-arts exhibition and event series
This year’s edition of the Design without borders exhibition and interdisciplinary art series, which has a 22-year history, focuses on the theme Object–Photo / Photo–Object in connection with the bicentennial of photography; the exhibition features works by more than 150 artists from nearly 18 countries, with a special focus on the V4 countries.
The exhibition presents a wide-ranging and innovative selection of works created at the intersection of these two fields, in which the object and the photograph appear as equal protagonists. Alongside historical references related to the theme, the exhibition explores design-oriented, fine art, experimental, and narrative approaches to the object–photo relationship, as well as the connection between jewellery art and photography. A special multidisciplinary installation combining textile, photography, and contemporary music also forms part of the exhibition.
The name “Design Without Borders” refers to the internationality of the project, European cohesion, regional dialogue, with a particular emphasis on interoperability between different artistic disciplines and themes, between different generations and intergenerational dialogue.
Design Without Borders, an independent exhibition organised without institutional backing, has become one of the region's most significant design and all-arts event series thanks to the dedication of its organisers. The 4 week exhibition’s venue has been for many years one of Budapest's most prestigious exhibition venues, the Kiscelli Museum Church Hall.
The exhibition is traditionally accompanied by an international symposium the day after the exhibition opening, where exhibitors and partners give 10-minute presentations in English, this time focusing on the theme of photography. As in previous years, the symposium can be followed in person and online.
During the exhibition, several classical and contemporary music concerts will take place, complemented by curatorial guided tours.

L'edizione di quest'anno della mostra Design without borders e della serie d'arte interdisciplinare, che ha una storia lunga 22 anni, si concentra sul tema Object-Photo / Photo-Object in connessione con il bicentenario della fotografia; La mostra presenta opere di oltre 150 artisti provenienti da quasi 18 paesi, con particolare attenzione ai paesi V4.
La mostra presenta una selezione ampia e innovativa di opere create all'incrocio di questi due campi, in cui l'oggetto e la fotografia appaiono come pari protagonisti. Accanto ai riferimenti storici legati al tema, la mostra esplora approcci orientati al design, alla fine arte, sperimentali e narrativi sulla relazione oggetto-foto, così come la connessione tra l'arte del gioiello e la fotografia. Una speciale installazione multidisciplinare che unisce il tessile, la fotografia e la musica contemporanea fa anche parte della mostra.
Il nome "Design Without Borders" si riferisce all'internazionalità del progetto, alla coesione europea, al dialogo regionale, con particolare enfasi sull'interoperabilità tra diverse discipline e temi artistici, tra diverse generazioni e sul dialogo intergenerazionale.
Design Without Borders, una mostra indipendente organizzata senza il sostegno istituzionale, è diventata uno dei più significativi eventi di design e arte della regione grazie alla dedizione dei suoi organizzatori. La sede della mostra di 4 settimane è stata per molti anni una delle sedi espositive più prestigiose di Budapest, il Kiscelli Museum Church Hall.
La mostra è tradizionalmente accompagnata da un simposio internazionale il giorno dopo l'apertura della mostra, dove espositori e partner presentano presentazioni di 10 minuti in inglese, questa volta con particolare attenzione al tema della fotografia. Come negli anni precedenti, il simposio può essere seguito di persona e online.
Durante la mostra, si terranno diversi concerti di musica classica e contemporanea, integrati da visite guidate curatoriali.

L’édition de cette année de l’exposition Design sans frontières et de la série d’art interdisciplinaire, qui a une histoire de 22 ans, se concentre sur le thème Objet–Photo / Photo–Objet en lien avec le bicentenaire de la photographie ; l’exposition présente des œuvres de plus de 150 artistes provenant de près de 18 pays, avec un accent particulier sur les pays du V4.
L’exposition présente une sélection large et innovante d’œuvres créées à l’intersection de ces deux domaines, dans lesquels l’objet et la photographie apparaissent comme des protagonistes égaux. Parallèlement aux références historiques liées au thème, l’exposition explore des approches axées sur le design, les beaux-arts, l’expérimentation et la narration de la relation objet-photo, ainsi que le lien entre l’art joaillier et la photographie. Une installation multidisciplinaire mêlant textile, photographie et musique contemporaine fait également partie de l’exposition.
Le nom « Design sans frontières » fait référence à l’internationalité du projet, à la cohésion européenne, au dialogue régional, avec un accent particulier sur l’interopérabilité entre les différentes disciplines et thèmes artistiques, entre les différentes générations et le dialogue intergénérationnel.
Design Without Borders, une exposition indépendante organisée sans soutien institutionnel, est devenue l’un des événements de design et d’arts les plus importants de la région grâce au dévouement de ses organisateurs. Le lieu d’exposition de 4 semaines a été pendant de nombreuses années l’un des lieux d’exposition les plus prestigieux de Budapest, le Kiscelli Museum Church Hall.
L’exposition est traditionnellement accompagnée d’un symposium international le lendemain de son ouverture, où exposants et partenaires donnent des présentations de 10 minutes en anglais, cette fois sur le thème de la photographie. Comme les années précédentes, le symposium peut être suivi en personne et en ligne.
Pendant l’exposition, plusieurs concerts de musique classique et contemporaine auront lieu, complétés par des visites guidées curatoriales.

La edición de este año de la exposición y serie de arte interdisciplinar Diseño sin fronteras, que tiene una historia de 22 años, se centra en el tema Objeto-Foto / Objeto-Foto en relación con el bicentenario de la fotografía; la exposición presenta obras de más de 150 artistas de casi 18 países, con un enfoque especial en los países V4.
La exposición presenta una selección amplia e innovadora de obras creadas en la intersección de estos dos campos, en los que el objeto y la fotografía aparecen como protagonistas iguales. Junto a referencias históricas relacionadas con el tema, la exposición explora enfoques orientados al diseño, las bellas artes, experimentales y narrativas de la relación objeto-foto, así como la conexión entre el arte de la joyería y la fotografía. Una instalación especial multidisciplinar que combina textil, fotografía y música contemporánea también forma parte de la exposición.
El nombre "Diseño sin fronteras" se refiere a la internacionalidad del proyecto, la cohesión europea, el diálogo regional, con un énfasis particular en la interoperabilidad entre diferentes disciplinas y temas artísticos, entre diferentes generaciones y el diálogo intergeneracional.
Design Without Borders, una exposición independiente organizada sin respaldo institucional, se ha convertido en una de las series de eventos de diseño y artes más importantes de la región gracias a la dedicación de sus organizadores. El lugar de la exposición de 4 semanas ha sido durante muchos años uno de los lugares de exhibición más prestigiosos de Budapest, el Kiscelli Museum Church Hall.
La exposición está tradicionalmente acompañada por un simposio internacional el día después de la apertura de la exposición, donde los expositores y socios hacen presentaciones de 10 minutos en inglés, esta vez centradas en el tema de la fotografía. Al igual que en años anteriores, el simposio se puede seguir en persona y en línea.
Durante la exposición, se realizarán varios conciertos de música clásica y contemporánea, complementados por visitas guiadas curatoriales.
