Robert Capa hat einen Stil erfunden: den Kriegsfotografen, das scharfe Auge für die Kamera, den Späher immer im Kopf. Als engagierter Zeuge prägte sein Blick nachhaltig die Geschichte des Fotojournalismus und prägte die neue Gestalt des Kriegsfotografen.
Das Musée de la Libération de Paris - Musée du Général Leclerc - Musée Jean Moulin bietet mit der außergewöhnlichen Zusammenarbeit von Magnum Photos eine kontextualisierte Neuinterpretation seines Werks an. Mehr als sechzig Zeitungsdrucke werden neben Zeitschriften, Büchern, Dokumenten und persönlichen Gegenständen präsentiert. Zusammen zeigen diese 160 Stücke den Werdegang eines jungen ungarischen Einwanderers, der zu einer Ikone der modernen Fotografie geworden ist.

Together, these one hundred sixty pieces retrace the journey of a young Hungarian immigrant who has become an icon of modern photography.
