In der Nähe von Paris ist Courances einer der schönsten Gärten Frankreichs und beherbergt ein Louis-XIII-Schloss, das als historisches Denkmal eingestuft ist. Der Park von Courances, genau wie das Schloss, ist ein Abbild der verschiedenen Epochen und Eigentümer, die sie geprägt haben.
So leben harmonisch ein Wassergarten der Renaissance, ein klassischer "französischer" Park und ein japanischer Garten zusammen. Das Ganze wird von 14 Quellen gespeist und von 17 Wasserstücken durchzogen.
Dieser Park mit einer überraschenden Schönheit, klassisch und romantisch, historisch und zeitgenössisch, birgt eine zugleich intime und grandiose Atmosphäre. Die Allgegenwart von "fließendem" Wasser, Pflanzen und Stein in dieser 86 Hektar großen Landschaft, deren Entstehung auf das 16. Jahrhundert zurückgeht, ist ein einzigartiges Schauspiel.

Near Paris, Courances is one of the most beautiful gardens in France and houses a Louis XIII castle, classified as historical monuments. The park of Courances, like the castle, is in the image of the different periods and owners who shaped them.
Thus harmoniously coexist a Renaissance water garden, a classic "French-style" park and a Japanese garden. The whole is fed by 14 sources and punctuated by 17 pieces of water.
This park of surprising beauty, classic and romantic, historical and contemporary, conceals an atmosphere both intimate and grandiose. The omnipresence of "running" water, plants and stone in this landscape of 86 hectares, whose creation dates back to the 16th century, is a unique sight.
Games of nature and waters, perspectives and scales, spectacular reflections and secret springs, shades of greens and colors, Courances reconciles the idea of rigor with that of freedom.
