Vom 7. März bis zum 14. Juni 2026 enthüllt das Musée Départemental Henri Matisse zum ersten Mal seinen fotografischen Bestand. Die lichtempfindliche Ausstellung zeigt etwa 250 Fotografien, darunter Originaldrucke von Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, André Kertész oder Man Ray. Auf diesem Weg werden die Entstehung dieser Sammlung und die Verankerung der Fotografie im 20.ᵉ Jahrhundert durch eine Reihe von Klischees entdeckt, die sich abwechselnd mit dem Künstlerleben, der Emanzipation dieser neuen Kunst und der Entstehung des Fotojournalismus befassen. Als Hommage an die Künstler, die ihre Zeit geprägt haben, und an die Sensibilität des Blicks der großen Fotografen des 20.ᵉ Jahrhunderts feiert Photosensible die Fotografie als eigenständige Kunst und enthüllt den ungeahnten Reichtum des fotografischen Fundus des Museums.

From March 7 to June 14, 2026, the Henri Matisse departmental museum unveils its photographic collection for the first time. The photosensitive exhibition highlights nearly 250 photographs, including original prints by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassaï, André Kertész and man Ray. In this journey, the birth of this collection and the anchoring of photography in the 20th century are discovered through a series of photographs dealing in turn with the life of an artist, the emancipation of this new art and the genesis of photojournalism. A true tribute to the artists who shaped their time and to the sensitivity of the eyes of the great photographers of the 20th century, photosensitive celebrates photography as an art in its own right and reveals the unsuspected richness of the museum’s photographic collection.

Dal 7 marzo al 14 giugno 2026, il museo dipartimentale Henri Matisse presenta per la prima volta la sua collezione fotografica. La mostra fotosensibile mette in evidenza quasi 250 fotografie, tra cui stampe originali di Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, André Kertész e MAN Ray. In questo viaggio, la nascita di questa collezione e l'ancoraggio della fotografia nel XX secolo si scoprono attraverso una serie di fotografie che si occupano a loro volta della vita di un artista, dell'emancipazione di questa nuova arte e della genesi del fotogiornalismo. Vero omaggio agli artisti che hanno plasmato il loro tempo e alla sensibilità degli occhi dei grandi fotografi del XX secolo, Photosensitive celebra la fotografia come un'arte a sé stante e rivela l'insospettabile ricchezza della collezione fotografica del museo.

Du 7 mars au 14 juin 2026, le musée départemental Henri Matisse dévoile son fonds photographique pour la première fois. Ainsi, l’exposition PhotoSensible met en lumière près de 250 photographies, dont des tirages originaux d’Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassaï, André Kertész ou Man Ray. Dans ce parcours, la naissance de cette collection et l’ancrage de la photographie dans le 20ᵉ siècle se découvrent à travers une série de clichés traitant tour à tour la vie d’artiste, l’émancipation de ce nouvel art et la genèse du photojournalisme. Véritable hommage aux artistes qui ont façonné leur époque et à la sensibilité du regard des grands photographes du 20ᵉ siècle, PhotoSensible célèbre la photographie comme un art à part entière et révèle la richesse insoupçonnée du fonds photographique du musée.

Del 7 de marzo al 14 de junio de 2026, el museo departamental Henri Matisse presenta por primera vez su colección fotográfica. La exposición fotosensible destaca cerca de 250 fotografías, entre las que se incluyen grabados originales de Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, André Kertész y MAN Ray. En este viaje, el nacimiento de esta colección y el anclaje de la fotografía en el siglo XX se descubren a través de una serie de fotografías que tratan a su vez la vida de un artista, la emancipación de este nuevo arte y la génesis del fotoperiodismo. Un verdadero homenaje a los artistas que dieron forma a su tiempo y a la sensibilidad de los ojos de los grandes fotógrafos del siglo XX, PhotoSensitive celebra la fotografía como un arte en sí mismo y revela la riqueza insospechada de la colección fotográfica del museo.
