Initiiert von der LRE Foundation und Tempora, bringt dieses Projekt vier Gedenkstätten in Europa zusammen, unterstützt durch das Programm Kreatives Europa. Ziel: Künstler und historische Orte miteinander in Dialog bringen, um die Erzählungen des Zweiten Weltkriegs auf andere Weise zu hinterfragen. Acht Wochen Aufenthalt sind geplant, die zu einer großen gemeinsamen Ausstellung im Jahr 2026 führen werden.
bis La Coupole, die britische Künstlerin und Forscherin Gail Ritchie wurde von einer Jury aus Historikern und Experten für zeitgenössische Kunst ausgewählt. Nach einer ersten Entdeckungsphase im Juni setzt Gail ihre Kreativ-Residenz vom 6. September bis zum 24. Oktober fort. Die aus Nordirland stammende und in Belfast lebende Künstlerin wird ihre Arbeitsweise und ihr Denken vorstellen, insbesondere wie die Erinnerung an den Konflikt in ihrem Land ihre Kreation nährt.

Initiated by the LRE Foundation and Tempora, this project brings together four memory sites in Europe, with the support of the Creative Europe program. Objective: to create a dialogue between artists and historical places in order to question the narratives of the Second World War in a different way. Eight weeks of residency are planned, which will culminate in a major joint exhibition in 2026.
To The Dome, it is the British artist and researcher Gail Ritchie who was selected by a jury of historians and experts in contemporary art. After an initial discovery period in June, Gail continues her creative residency from September 6 to October 24. Originally from Northern Ireland and settled in Belfast, the artist will present his work approach and reflection, particularly the way in which the memory of conflict in his country nourishes his creation.

Obiettivo: far dialogare artisti e luoghi di Storia per mettere in discussione le narrazioni della seconda guerra mondiale. Sono previste otto settimane di residenza, che porteranno a una grande esposizione comune nel 2026.
a La Coupole, è stata l'artista e ricercatrice britannica Gail Ritchie che è stata selezionata da una giuria di storici ed esperti di arte contemporanea. Dopo un primo periodo di scoperta in giugno, Gail continua il suo residence creativo dal 6 settembre al 24 ottobre. Originaria dell'Irlanda del Nord e residente a Belfast, l'artista presenterà il suo approccio al lavoro e la sua riflessione, in particolare il modo in cui la memoria del conflitto nel suo paese alimenta la sua creazione.
