Die Engel, diese unumgänglichen Figuren in der Bildhauerei, der Malerei, den Glasfenstern usw., sind seit der Antike im Nahen Osten präsent und wurden später als Symbol in der christlichen Religion übernommen.
Sie sind auf den Toren der Kathedralen zu sehen (der lächelnde Engel von Reims, der Erzengel St. Michael auf dem Pfeil der Abtei vom Mont-Saint-Michel usw.). Sie sind lächelnd, wohlwollend, beschützend, begleitend... Zahlreiche Darstellungen von Engeln sind in der Kirche Saint-Martin de Frolois.
Zwei Engel aus Terrakotta aus dem 19. Jahrhundert werden nach einer Restaurierung der Manufaktur "La Sainterie" in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt.

Angels, these essential figures in sculpture, painting, stained glass windows, etc., have been present since Antiquity in the Middle East, a symbol subsequently taken up in the Christian religion.
They appear on the portals of the cathedrals (the smiling angel of Reims, the archangel Saint-Michel on the spire of the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, etc.). They are smiling, benevolent, protectors, companions... Many representations of angels are in the church of Saint-Martin de Frolois.
Two terracotta angels from the 19th century will be presented to the public, after restoration, coming from the "Sainterie" factory in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse.

Gli angeli, figure imprescindibili nella scultura, nella pittura, nelle vetrate, ecc., sono presenti fin dall'antichità nel Medio Oriente, simbolo ripreso poi nella religione cristiana.
Sono presenti sui portali delle cattedrali (l'angelo con il sorriso di Reims, l'arcangelo San Michele sulla guglia dell'abbazia del Mont-Saint-Michel, ecc.). Sono sorridenti, benevoli, protettori, accompagnatori... Numerose raffigurazioni di angeli figurano nella chiesa di Saint-Martin de Frolois.
Due angeli in terracotta del XIX secolo saranno presentati al pubblico, dopo il restauro, provenienti dalla manifattura "Sainterie" a Vendeuvre-sur-Barse.

Les anges, ces figures incontournables dans la sculpture, la peinture, les vitraux, etc., sont présents dès l’Antiquité au Moyen-Orient, symbole repris, ensuite, dans la religion chrétienne.
Ils figurent sur les portails des cathédrales (l’ange au sourire de Reims, l’archange Saint-Michel sur la flèche de l’abbaye du Mont-Saint-Michel, etc.). Ils sont souriants, bienveillants, protecteurs, accompagnateurs… De nombreuses représentations d’anges figurent dans l’église Saint-Martin de Frolois.
Deux anges en terre cuite du XIXème siècle seront présentés au public, après restauration, provenant de la manufacture la "Sainterie" à Vendeuvre-sur-Barse.

Los ángeles, estas figuras imprescindibles en la escultura, la pintura, las vidrieras, etc., están presentes desde la antigüedad en el Medio Oriente, símbolo retomado, después, en la religión cristiana.
Figuran en las puertas de las catedrales (el ángel con la sonrisa de Reims, el arcángel San Miguel sobre la flecha de la abadía del Mont-Saint-Michel, etc.). Son sonrientes, benevolentes, protectores, acompañantes... Numerosas representaciones de ángeles figuran en la iglesia de Saint-Martin de Frolois.
Dos ángeles de terracota del siglo XIX serán presentados al público, después de la restauración, procedentes de la fábrica "Sainterie" en Vendeuvre-sur-Barse.
