Der beeindruckende englische Park, der mit dem Poprad-Fluss verbunden ist, wurde von Andrej Szirmay im frühen 19. Jahrhundert angelegt. Sein heutiges Aussehen stammt aus dem letzten Drittel des 19. Jahrhunderts, und der Park wurde ausschließlich mit einheimischen Arten bepflanzt. Die slowakische Nationalgalerie richtet dort nach und nach eine Ausstellung von Skulpturen im Freien ein, in der Werke bedeutender Bildhauer aus der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts gezeigt werden.

The impressive English park, connected to the Poprad River, was founded by Andrej Szirmay at the beginning of the 19th century. Its current form dates from the last third of the 19th century, and the park was planted only with native tree species. The Slovak National Gallery gradually builds an outdoor sculpture exhibition here, presenting works by important sculptors from the second half of the 20th century.

L'impressionnant parc anglais, relié à la rivière Poprad, a été créé par Andrej Szirmay au début du XIXe siècle. Son aspect actuel date du dernier tiers du XIXe siècle, et le parc a été planté exclusivement d'essences indigènes. La Galerie nationale slovaque y aménage progressivement une exposition de sculptures en plein air, présentant des œuvres de sculpteurs majeurs de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle.

Su aspecto actual data del último tercio del siglo XIX, y el parque ha sido plantado exclusivamente con especies nativas. La Galería Nacional Eslovaca ha ido organizando una exposición de esculturas al aire libre, con obras de los principales escultores de la segunda mitad del siglo XX.
