Giardino Garzoni - The theatre of the gaze
10.00 am - Entrance hall (reception for participants)
Introductory greeting on the annual theme APGI, dedicated to sight and practices of watching.
Intervention of Prof. Arch. Maria Adriana Giusti, member of the APGI Scientific Committee and scientific curator of the PNRR project for the restoration of the Garzoni Garden.
At 10.15 am
Presentation of the volume «Villa e giardino Garzoni a Collodi. Teatro dei teatri» (ed. Pacini Fazzi, Lucca), by Maria Adriana Giusti.
Interventions of:
• Dr. Pierfrancesco Bernacchi, former President of the Collodi National Foundation
• prof. Lorenzo Franchini, European University of Rome
The presentation starts a reflection on the garden as a visual device, built through axes of perspective, scenographic settings, privileged viewpoints and illusion games.
Around 12.30
Path in the garden, with the support of guides, who will accompany visitors to discover the main scenic and perspective devices.
Starting from the screen placed beyond the entrance (already prepared on a previous occasion APGI) and with the help of a telescope for observing the anamorphic mask at the center of the water theater, participants will be guided in reading the Garzoni Garden as a real theater of vision.
Pinocchio Park - Game of Looks

Experiential activity with guides and animators.
Re-read the adventures of Pinocchio through points of view and intersections of glances: phrases, sketches, narratives, memories. Find - with the help of guides and entertainers - your narrative journey in the fantastic landscape of the puppet-child.

Jardin Garzoni - Le théâtre du regard
10h00 - Salle d’entrée (accueil des participants)
Salutation introductive sur le thème annuel APGI, consacré à la vue et aux pratiques du regarder.
Intervention du professeur Arch. Maria Adriana Giusti, membre du comité scientifique APGI et curatrice scientifique du projet PNRR de restauration du jardin Garzoni.

Relisez les aventures de Pinocchio à travers des points de vue et des regards croisés : phrases, croquis, récits, souvenirs. Retrouvez - avec l’aide de guides et d’animateurs - votre parcours narratif dans le fantastique paysage de la marionnette-enfant.
