Das am Ende der 1980er Jahre umgebaute ehemalige Schloss der Herren von Nevers ist ein wichtiges Beispiel für die Architektur der Renaissance, die Größe und Finesse vereint. Nach der Revolution wurde der Palast in einen Justizpalast umgewandelt und umfangreiche Arbeiten wurden durchgeführt, um ihn an seine neue Funktion anzupassen. Dann beherbergt er auf Anregung von Pierre Bérégovoy das Rathaus von Nevers, wo sich heute noch der Stadtrat befindet. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte hat sich der Palast als Ort der Macht erhalten, während er seine Geheimnisse und seine Geschichte bewahrt hat, was seine zentrale Rolle im Leben der Stadt bezeugt.

Redeveloped at the end of the 1980s, the former castle of the lords of Nevers constitutes a major example of Renaissance architecture, combining grandeur and finesse. After the Revolution, the palace was transformed into a courthouse and major works were carried out to adapt it to its new function. Then, under the impetus of Pierre Bérégovoy, it hosts the City Hall of Nevers, where still today the municipal council sits. Throughout the centuries, the palace has retained its vocation as a place of power, while preserving its mysteries and history, thus testifying to its central role in the life of the city.

Ristrutturato alla fine degli anni 1980, l'antico castello dei signori di Nevers è un importante esempio di architettura rinascimentale, che unisce grandezza e raffinatezza. Réaménagé à la fin des années1980, l’ancien château des seigneurs de Nevers constitue un exemple majeur de l’architecture Renaissance, alliant grandeur et finesse. Après la Révolution, le palais est transformé en palais de Justice et d’importants travaux sont réalisés pour l’adapter à sa nouvelle fonction. Puis, sous l’impulsion de Pierre Bérégovoy, il héberge l’Hôtel de Ville de Nevers, où siège encore aujourd’hui le conseil municipal. Después de la Revolución, el palacio se transforma en Palacio de Justicia y se realizan importantes obras para adaptarlo a su nueva función.
