Pollination is defined as the transport of pollen from the male reproductive organs of flowers (stamens) to the female reproductive organs (pistils) for sexual reproduction. Pollination is a crucial step in the life cycle of plants.
But how does this transport take place and by whom? Or what? Meet at the Relais Nature for a completely free afternoon dedicated to pollination. On the program:
Honey extraction:
Immerse yourself in the skin of a beekeeper: unoperculate the frames, turn the crank of the extractor, harvest your honey and leave with a jar of 50g.
Registration workshop, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm
Dancers in Flowers Workshop:
Do you know the little fairies that hide in the garden?
They take a multitude of pollinators to a wild Sarabande where the plants will produce their precious seeds.
Draw me a snout invites you to discover the methods of seed dissemination and make pretty vegetable dancers, as an ode to this renewal!
Grand Pollinator Round Game:
Challenges, questions, games... The Takoda association invites you to a great game in autonomy to discover the role of pollination and pollinators. On your marks, ready, play!
Syrphes discovery animation:
Able to fly on site, helpers of the gardener and pollinators out of pair, syrphes have very diverse lifestyles and diets. The animators of the place reveal you the secrets of these flies disguised.
Conference: wild bees:
Everyone knows the honeybee. But do you know that there are many other species of bees? Through this conference offered by the association Lestrem Nature, come and discover wild bees, their behaviour, their diet and how to welcome them at home.
