The Memorial Ascq 1944 opens its doors for free on the 4th Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A guided tour through Ascq is organized free of charge at 3:30 pm.

The Memorial Ascq 1944 opens its doors for free on the 4th Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A guided tour through Ascq is organized free of charge at 3:30 pm.
The guided route through the streets of Ascq allows you to discover the highlights of the tragedy to better understand the course of events: location of the sabotage, station square, center of Ascq. Stops in front of some houses of massacred allow to better understand the sufferings of the victims and their families and the dread that knew the population of Ascq.
It is also an opportunity to discover how the memory of the event was inscribed throughout the village (changes of street names, commemorative plaques).

Le Mémorial Ascq 1944 vous ouvre ses portes gratuitement le 4ème dimanche de 14h30 à 17h30. Un parcours guidé dans Ascq est organisé gratuitement à 15h30.
Le parcours guidé dans les rues d’Ascq permet de découvrir les lieux marquants de la tragédie pour mieux appréhender le déroulement des événements : emplacement du sabotage, place de la gare, centre d’Ascq. Des arrêts devant certaines maisons de massacrés permettent de mieux comprendre les souffrances des victimes et de leur famille et l’effroi qu’a connu la population d’Ascq.
C’est aussi l’occasion de découvrir comment la mémoire de l’événement a été inscrite dans l’ensemble du village (changements de noms de rue, plaques commémoratives).

Het Memorial Ascq 1944 opent zijn deuren gratis op de 4e zondag van 14:30 tot 17:30 uur. Een rondleiding door Ascq wordt gratis georganiseerd om 15:30 uur.
De begeleide route door de straten van Ascq stelt u in staat om de hoogtepunten van de tragedie te ontdekken om de gang van zaken beter te begrijpen: De locatie van de sabotage, het stationsplein, het centrum van Ascq. Door tussenstops voor enkele slachthuizen kan men het lijden van de slachtoffers en hun families en de angst die de bevolking van Ascq kende beter begrijpen.
Het is ook een gelegenheid om te ontdekken hoe de herinnering aan het evenement in het hele dorp werd ingeschreven (veranderingen van straatnamen, herdenkingsplaten).
