Wednesday, October 29 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, go for a walk in the urban park and create with your family a plant press as well as a herbarium!
On the program:
- Discover how mills were built and the importance of wood for these buildings
- Go for a walk in the urban park and learn to recognize tree species used by mill carpenters but also other plants, leaves, fruits that dot it
- In a carpentry workshop, saw, sand, drill ... to create a wooden press!
- Draw in your herbarium the leaves picked up during the walk, put them in your plant press and stick them into the herbarium!
At the end of the workshop, the on-site snack is offered by the museum.

Mercredi 29 octobre de 13h30 à 16h30, partez en balade dans le parc urbain et créez en famille une presse à plantes ainsi qu'un herbier !
Au programme :
- Découvrez comment on construisait les moulins et l'importance du bois pour ces édifices
- Partez en balade dans le parc urbain et apprenez à reconnaître des essences d’arbres utilisées par les charpentiers de moulins mais aussi les autres plantes, des feuilles, des fruits qui le parsèment
- Dans un atelier menuiserie, sciez, poncez, percez ... pour réaliser une presse en bois !
- Dessinez dans votre herbier les feuilles ramassées lors de la balade, mettez-les dans votre presse à plantes et collez-les dans l'herbier !
À la fin de l'atelier, le goûter sur place est proposé par le musée.

Woensdag 29 oktober van 13:30 tot 16:30 uur, maak een wandeling in het stadspark en maak met uw gezin een plantenpers en een herbarium!
Op het programma:
- Ontdek hoe molens werden gebouwd en hoe belangrijk hout voor deze gebouwen is
- Maak een wandeling in het stadspark en leer boomsoorten te herkennen die worden gebruikt door molentimmerlieden, maar ook andere planten, bladeren, vruchten die het stippen
- In een timmerwerkplaats, zaag, zand, boor ... om een houten pers te maken!
- Trek in je herbarium de bladeren die tijdens de wandeling worden opgepikt, doe ze in je plantenpers en steek ze in het herbarium!
Aan het einde van de workshop wordt de snack op het terrein aangeboden door het museum.
