Meeting on Saturday, March 28 at 5 PM for the concert ofAâma !
Emma Prat (singing) and Bertrand Maïlar (guitar) discover the common desire to tell a story, to circulate emotions, to sing diversity and hope. From this meeting is born "AÂMA" which means global, common, universal. More than a name, it is a true artistic manifesto. Joined by Sami Foukani-Descamps (double bass), Julien Girard (piano) and Xavier Pernet (drums). Together, they have forged a unique sound, mixing sensitivity and audacity while transcending genres and borders.
The music of AÂMA is located on the border of jazz, traditional music from Africa, the Mediterranean or song. It oscillates with fluidity between the lyricism of the Orient, the freedom of jazz, the narrative depth of the song, the rhythms of Africa. It is "the promise of a sweet journey".

Emma Prat (chant) et Bertrand Maïlar (guitare) se découvrent le désir commun de raconter une histoire, de faire circuler des émotions, de chanter la diversité et l’espérance. De cette rencontre naît « AÂMA » qui veut dire global, commun, universel. Plus qu’un nom, c’est un véritable manifeste artistique. Rejoints par Sami Foukani-Descamps (contrebasse), Julien Girard (piano) et Xavier Pernet (batterie). Ensemble, ils ont forgé un son unique, mêlant sensibilité et audace tout en transcendant les genres et les frontières.
La musique de AÂMA se situe à la frontière du jazz, des musiques traditionnelles d’Afrique,de la Méditerranée ou de la chanson. Elle oscille avec fluidité entre le lyrisme de l’orient, la liberté du jazz, la profondeur narrative de la chanson, les rythmes d’Afrique. Elle est « la promesse d’un doux voyage ».

Emma Prat (zingen) en Bertrand Maïlar (gitaar) ontdekken de gemeenschappelijke wens om een verhaal te vertellen, emoties te laten circuleren, diversiteit en hoop te zingen. Uit deze bijeenkomst wordt geboren "AÂMA" wat globaal, gemeenschappelijk, universeel betekent. Meer dan een naam, het is een echt artistiek manifest. Samen met Sami Foukani-Descamps (dubbele bas), Julien Girard (piano) en Xavier Pernet (drums). Samen hebben ze een uniek geluid gecreëerd, waarbij gevoeligheid en durf worden gecombineerd en genres en grenzen worden overstegen.
De muziek van AÂMA bevindt zich op de grens van jazz, traditionele muziek uit Afrika, de Middellandse Zee of zang. Het schommelt met vloeiendheid tussen het lyricisme van de Oriënt, de vrijheid van jazz, de verhalende diepte van het lied, de ritmes van Afrika. Het is "de belofte van een zoete reis".
